So far I just have rolls down for section 3 disease and section 2 family. I only just started it and when he rolled a 3 so I thought I better fill that section out first. Here is my disease/illness list. Except a roll of one is very close to rolling 3 mental illness/1 Plain crazy. Not sure if it's clear which are the sub-sections there. I might need to come up with something else. Under a spoiler for length. 3 DISEASE/ILLNESS/ 1 Your sim contracts a rare disease. Make them look ridiculous. Crazy Cow disease, Spotted bunny or whatever crazy thing takes your fancy. They must spend a week at hospital during hospital rotation.
2 Broken bone. Your sim broke a leg or an arm or both. That skiing trip wasn’t too good. Use Boblishman's cast mesh. Your sim goes to hospital and stays overnight. Family must wait on sim who cannot use stairs(except to get into the house if the house has them outside) Sim must stay sitting as much as possible. Go back to hospital on the last day to remove cast, continue to sit until the end of the rotation.
3.Mental illness: 1 Plain crazy. Dress your sim up as a character, they must then go to a community lot and dance the smustle until at least 5 sims have pointed and laughed at him. Try and get as many sims doing the smustle as possible.
2 Nervous breakdown. You must pick a sim and try to only fulfil fears until they receive a visit from the shrink. 3. Depression, keep one sims isolated until he gets a visit from the social bunny or try for more. See if you can get two bunnies at the same time. The Sim must spend hospital rotation in the phyc ward undergoing shock therapy. He or she can be released once they have studied lifelong happiness and are in the green. If they already mastered LLH they must stay the full week. 4. Anger management. Your sim must choose another sim to harass until they can fight. The Sim must stay at the hospital until they have completed the anger management course. Then they must then apologize and try to make a friend out of that enemy. The only fun for the week is to kick a gnome or flamingo. 5.Mid life crises. Sim must change how they look including hair colour, go to a community lot and flirt with five other sims. Extreme: change aspiration for the week, cheat on partner. 6.Pick any of the above. 4 Food poisoning: You really weren’t sure about Great Aunts Maude’s beef stew, but you couldn’t hurt her feelings... Children are the only ones not affected; they told Aunt Maude exactly what they thought of her stew! Maybe you will be lucky and avoid food poisoning. Roll a dice for each family member teen or older. Whatever number they roll is the number of platefuls of spoiled food they must eat. 1-6. Sometimes being very polite may not be for the best! Option: Messy sims can eat out of the trash instead. They must have thought that stew was rather good. Any sim who gets sick must go to hospital until they are better. 5. Very sick: Your sim has got the flu, biotec machine illness or illness from a hack such as Carrigon's spider. The first two illnesses can kill a sim if they don’t rest. They are also contagious. Your sim must go to hospital and be in the isolation ward. With only a toilet, bath, a chair and a bookcase. Lock them in. After 12 hours they may be given a potion to cure it. (spider is not contagious) 6. Slacker: Your sim isn’t really sick at all. He must phone in sick for two consecutive (or as soon as work starts back if there is a day/s off)work days when he isn’t really sick. After that he is uncontrollable apart from filling needs. He is free to go to work on the other days-if he goes autonomously. Harder- Make it four days of ringing in sick. Any sim who gets fired may get back in the career next rotation-at the bottom you slacker! If he doesn’t have a regular job-simply have him as uncontrolled. Pregnant sims: They are immune, isn’t pregnancy hard enough? Shoes can be a very hard thing. Are you after teen?I know I have a set of dresses with flats. I'll probably have a problem with my Rosa as she gets older I was thinking about it again and pictured her as a teen under a car but somehow still looking clean and pretty.

That list is great, I love the anger management idea, and the mid-life crisis, so perfect! And of course the children telling Aunt Maud what they thought of that stew so they don't get sick. Ha, your picture of Rosa sounds perfect for how you wrote her! If you need anything near to the time (and if my recolour skills have improved) then just let me know and I'll have a go. I'm after adult, the middle gen are reaching mid-adult and some of them aren't really dressed like parents of teenagers, so I want to update them and maxis-match while I'm at it. Rose has always worn quite a specific pink, a lot of the dress recolours I have are normal pink or dusty rose. One dress was perfect but had the converse on it. I've got a few projects I can have a go with this evening, once I've checked that Marie's new dress works. For once, I have quite a bit of choice for the teen girls, I got them a lot of top-only dresses, so I can choose the shoes from the 'pantless bottoms' as they're known. That sounds rather weird to me, but I guess they mean trousers! But it gives so much choice, having the dress classified as a top and putting whatever shoes you want with it. And tights, too! The teen boys, I think I'm ok as there are only 4 boys this gen, Lucas (red hair), Leo (blue hair), Alex (Penny's oldest grandson) and Mihaly (alien , and they all have different life colours, so they should be fine. Ah, wait, there are two more boys, but they're both toddlers, so that's a while off.

I've already revised and added to that list as well. Now I have chemical contact for coloured skins and the crazy 'disease' I've moved to the mental section and I've added in heat stroke and freezing. Seems like I latch onto one of the girls as my favourite character each gen and they aren't even in the running for heir! I'd like to get back to some stories soon I think. I've even come up with her adult romance story line and combined her tinkering and shyness into it and she is still only a child! Sorry I was mixing her up with one of the kids. Seriously bad at keeping characters straight without a picture to remind me. I know what you mean about the clothes, although just remember not all of us old enough to have adult children wear stylish stuff-or certainly not around the house. Jeans and T-shirts with nicer embroidered/appliquéd t-shirts for going out is kind of my standard wear. So I'd look more to their character then just their age. It's more the type of t-shirt and jean I wear that has changed. I wouldn't be adverse to converse either if that means canvas lace ups? Plenty ladies wear low cut white or navy ones with capris when shopping. It's not like I reached 45 and thought holy smokes Batman I must now wear a skirt! Just if you want a >cough< a mid adults perspective. Greying hair is always something I need. Heidi combined a regular with a grey for Joanne's hair. Just I haven’t been to the box in ages. They tend to talk about stuff I’m not really into. I kind of felt like a spare wheel.

Funny, Jo, how you're picturing your Rosa is kind of how I'm picturing my Penny. (Penny is Jo and Phoenix's daughter.) Although I can see Penny being OK with getting dirty if needed. Those random occurrence things are very creative and seem really interesting... and are too much work for me! But I admire you for using them. Amy, I've only seen a very few top-only dresses and no bottom-only shoes. (Obviously I'm not looking in the right places.) But they sound like a very elegant solution! And if the creators are American, then yes, by "pants" they mean "trousers." What you call "pants" we call "underwear," "underpants," or "panties" if they're for women. I haven't played in a long time (since yesterday!) and I'm only going to do a little work on the MTS house tonight, but I did some thinking as I was listening to various Gilbert & Sullivan-y things today, and I came to the following conclusions: 1. Rock, paper, scissors will work nicely 2. Lilly the snooty biyotch will work nicely for the Countess 3. I am going to need an epic number of Sims and couples this time around 4. I can't wait until I can post the OWBC heir poll so I can get to work on Plot 5. Alas, that means that I have to finish writing up this chapter first.

Good point Jo, my parents are quite a bit older (ah, you guys know that with me talking about Dad's 60th lately), so I kind of base ageing on what I know, but you're very right. Most of my Psychs are staying very similar to their normal outfits, but getting a bit more maxis-match. Piaget actually has a 3D collar now, for example. That drawn-on one was driving me crazy! Esme, most of the pantless bottoms in my game are from Hayley/Chalkmetal/Pinkyhayz (she changed journal name), I meant to post a link to her in the finds thread, I'll do that next. It's such a good idea for shoe variety! Eee, can't wait for your plot! ;D And for the heir poll too. Are you doing yours on boolprop, LJ, or both? How many couples do you mean by epic? Hope it's still fun to stage, even with lots of sims involved! I'm not 100% happy with my dress recolour, but I'm about 95% happy, so it's all good! The main thing is that it worked and showed up in game, but the colour isn't quite right. The bit on the right where the dress is wobbly is courtesy of Maxis and their rubbish mesh. I think because it's a black colour, it looks a bit like a blank space in my game, sort of like that bit of the screen's off and there's nothing there. I think either I need a different texture on it (its currently linen, which hasn't showed up much), or I need to desaturate the black, make it more of a very, very dark grey to let some detail through. I am enjoying myself though, it's so much fun! ;D *edit* Actually, looking at it on here, I might use a different mesh with a slightly shorter skirt. It might look less like a black void if you could see her feet under it... And I will get working on the chapter once Marie and Rose are ready. It's just because Marie's in the second scene and everyone is in the third scene, I want them all ready.

From what I have read, they say not to use real black but a very dark grey for black because real black doesn't show texture and ends up looking like a black hole. So that's what I would do, find the darkest grey possible.
I have some of her top only dresses, like that jumper one with the fish, but sadly can find nothing that works underneath it. Everything, even undies show through the side. Do you have something that works with it Amy? Otherwise I'm going to have to delete it as my download folder has reached ridiculous levels.

These and these work with it in bodyshop, but I haven't tried them in-game yet. Ah, I'll try again tonight with a dark grey. I don't think the regular colour actions from creators like CuriousB and Aeila work outside of photoshop, but I haven't seen anywhere where it's explained fully about what they actually do and how you use them. I'm just sort of using trial and error at the moment, to see what works. But this is much better than my last attempts! ;D P.S. You're online at the same time as me, yay!!! ;D

Was I? Aww I didn't notice. It was early morning here. I'll try those, but what I'm really after is tights or leggings. I just don't like to see bare legas with what I would call a winters dress. I even tried some bottom only long socks but they didn't quite reach the dress-maybe I'm just old but it's not a look I like. I've added some of her other tights with boots which I'm about to look at in CAS. I love the B-bettina's boots but again with those chilly legs! chalkmetal.livejournal.com/?skip=10&tag=sims%3A%20downloads%3A%20clothing Boots to the far left. Anyway to keep this thread a little on topic. I played the Ramaswami appartment yesterday- are you impressed I not only rememberd their name but spelt it correctly? Haha only because I have it written down as I'm going through working out sim motivation at each house (They are all 5 average, every one of them.) and jotting down stats. They make children with no chins unfortunatly, although they look alright from the front. The son Raff grew into a child and the daughter Raylee is 3 days behind. I made those names up as I thought they went with the name/nationality? Not sure if they are meant to be a particular nationality or not. I should put up some photos. Then I just have the Goodies and Rollingston house to play before I play the hospital and Uni. This is the hoods first crop of uni students so I'm looking forward to that.

Yes, try using a dark gray, Amy. True black is too black. And thanks for the links in the other thread! Jo, I think the Ramaswamis are supposed to be Indian (from India, not Native American) -- I know that "Priya" is an Indian name, and I think "Ramaswami" is as well. I don't remember the husband's first name (Sanjay?) but I think it's Indian as well. Incidentally, so is "Abhijeet," which about half of my male townies are named. "Abhijeet" means "the victorious one" -- which means that I could nickname one of them "Vic" and it wouldn't be all that far off. It sounds like your game is going well! You manage such a complicated playstyle; I'm impressed! An epic number of couples = 3 or 4 males (or male equivalents) and 4 females (or female equivalents). Which is a lot when you're trying to work the "find the lady" type plot that Gilbert wrote. I say "male/female equivalents" because I have no problem with casting same-sex relationships or swapping genders if needed to make the characters flow into the plot. In the plot with Old Adam, Oakapple, and Myrna I used a female (Charlotte) instead of a male (Major Murgatroyd) because that was what made sense in terms of the characters who would need to be hanging out and doing stupid stuff together. So that's 7 or 8 Sims, not counting the extra one to three who have to keep giving the little nudges to keep the plot going in the right direction. For comparison, my last Plot used 6 Sims. The one with Oakapple and Myrna used more (9 or 10) but 7 of them didn't really need to do much of anything other than be in the same room for pictures. I think I'll do my poll on Boolprop -- I'm pretty sure it's in the rules -- but I'll post a link on LJ.

Indian, I hadn't even thought of that! (yeah I know that doesn't mean native American ) I was thinking Jamaica or some such place, I guess because of the sk4, but of course you can get dark skin in India and the names do sound more Indian now you point it out. *face slap* Shame I hadn't thought or I would have given the kids Indian names. Good luck with your plot esme, and seeing I don't know G&S I wouldn't even twig if you have swapped male roles to female or vice versa.

There are more houses still in spring then I thought. Mostly partly played as I must have jumped around a bit due to crashes. I finished off the Gavigons and Rollington's. Decided to roll them, lol roll the Rollingtons. Aaaand they rolled up Family-Pets-Obey your pets! From esme's Crazy Cat Lovers challenge. Luckily they did already have a cat who got even more spoiled then it already was. Loaded up the gypsy who I hadn't played at all that rotation, and left her about half way through as I was so tired from getting no sleep the night before. So I need to finish her and then a few days on two other partly played houses, the hospital then the Uni. The plan was to finish rotation and look at my OWBC update, but I might look at it sooner as this is taking longer than I thought. I guess playing Sims3 World Adventures wasn't quite in the plan...

In Apple Valley news, Susanna Johnson (Dr's daughter) tries to come to grips with being on the front desk of a busy hospital. "Should you be buying pills by yourself?" David Goodie:"lady I'm nine years old!" "What lady? Me? But I'm only 13" David Goodie: "Yeah I know, really old" "What!-Oof!" Dr Johnson makes her rounds (cough> to all of one ward >cough< ) Brendon Monty continues to recover in the isolation ward. ....and that's the 5 limit. I just thought Susanna looked rather cute working the till.

I could have sworn I replied about 3 posts ago, but my laptop is playing up, so that would explain why I didn't. *sigh* I love Susanna's confused face at the till, I'd be the same! Sounds like your rotation's going really well Jo! ;D Well, I got distracted still trying to find the perfect outfit for Rose. And right after trying to load The Big Trade Off LJ page, my laptop started beeping. Quite regularly. *sigh* I know what I'm getting for Christmas/January sales...

Yesterday I stumbled back upon this Sims 2 Finds site. trappingcrushes.tumblr.com/I ended up downloading 20 files, two of which contained up around 12 files inside the Rar. I found some clothes I hadn't seen before so you might find something on there Amy. It's taking my computer at least 20 minutes to load now so I'm at the point I should not add more but I do! Also can I say how chuffed I was to find my own Water park lot on their site. I pm'd Holly about it on Twitter or Tumbler I think it was to ask if she had nominated it, but I don't know if she received it or sent anything back as I'm not on twitter myself. Anyway it's in the archives under June 2012. Seeing that made me ;D

Congratulations, Jo! You realize that now I've got a new source for downloads, right? I agree, those pictures of Susanna at the register were pretty great. I haven't played much recently on account of having to take care of myself in real life. *wishes that the house would always be clean, dishes always done, etc* *also wishes for a million trillion bajillion dollars as long as she's wishing*
