Symphony - what a story! You grab us right away and throw us right into it!
I can't believe it took Annibelle until she was 30 to show up in a mental ward, with a mother like that! No wonder her father ran! He should've been a better man and took the baby with him!
This is such an intriquing story - you really got right into the action! Great stuff, Symphony!

How moving - her own opinion of herself as a monster for wanting her mother dead. That's really powerful, and very telling. I love that this doctor is so interested in unlocking all the events that led up to her suicide attempt, and the flashback/therapy sessions are an excellent way to tell this story!

Great stuff, and such a gripping backstory! ;D Nice to see someone looking at MPD/BPD, and so well too! I never venture into the clinical stuff, but it makes for great reading, and you write so well.  I love how it's all slowly unfurling and slotting into place, the back story fits the symptoms perfectly too, and I hope that in the future Annabella does get her shot at happiness. Can't wait for more! ;D |

I had to do some research on BPD so that I at least have some idea what I'm talking about
If Annabella agrees to treatment - there may be hope for her - but the first step for her is to realise that she needs help - hopefully Dr Drake can make her see that.

All caught up!
OMG - so heartbreaking. Poor Annabella. I think mommy dearest needs another "trip" down the stairs! And she never got to say goodbye. I'm afraid if Graeme tries to write, that her mother will get the letters & never give them to her. If they'd had a chance to talk before he left, they might've worked out a place to send them. So tragic!

What a bombshell. I thought (like Annabella) that she meant so much to Graeme, and now he's head over heels for someone else? There's so many ways he could've contacted her - he could've mailed letters to a friend and had him give them to Annabella at school - but instead he let things end with that letter. He knew how she really felt, and even if she really did write it, he should've seen that she only did it to make it easy on him to leave. MEN!!!
