Teenage angst and illness plots. This is really becoming a soap opera. Nice holiday. But what has happened to Dina! Now that this is done will we get some C to F?

I don't think so Jo. I have so much work to do in that neighborhood before I can even write an update. Remember I had to put a back up hood from October! Need to rebuild, almost everything.

Uggh! I had totally forgotten about that October backup. Well I hope getting it all back and running goes as painlessly as possible Holley.

This chapter was awesomeness Holley. So much happened and so much to look forward to. I can't wait to see the deal with Nina and poor Dina, I wonder what's ailing her. I think you've made me fall in love with Don's character...not the cheating bit, but the good father bit. Boy he has a lot of drama to look forward to with his two teen girls And what Jill said. Hurry with the next update

Wow!!! The kids of Pleasantview are sure growing up!!! Nothing like some tasty PN after a long day at work!
It's really fun to see the youngsters step up and take the torch, so to speak. They're all going to have some exciting young lives, and I look forward to having a peek at each and every one!
Lol@ "can't remember what Sophie looks like, because her face is always plastered to Donnie's"
Danielle grew up so nicely, and I love that Alex & Tosha took her in so she could stay in the only home she ever knew. (How catty of Cassie to suggest Nina take her in "She has family", like they weren't her family also!) I never thought I'd say, Yeah, Tosha!, but I said it! She really stepped in for Danielle. With the life she had, it makes sense that she grew up kind of quiet and reserved, but feeling very loved. Awesome!!! Well done!
Those Lothario's, from Don still playing with Nina (and I know Cassie doesn't have an 'understanding' about it, no matter what he thinks!) To his son, who appears to be following in his playboy footsteps! I wonder if what happened to poor Bella will make him think about what he's teaching his kids by example. He'll be lucky if DOnnie Jr doesn't bring home the next generation before he goes to college!
Bella sure got a nice 'mothering' instinct from Cassie - the way she looks after Nicky & is concerned with everyone's feelings. I'm glad she didn't give in to Eric. It would've been easy for her to think girls just do whatever the guy says, based on her parent's relationship and his 2nd family. Good for her!
I can't help but wonder if there'll be an unexpected transfer in college that lets Donnie meet up with Debbie again. Hmmm...
Each kid has a very distinct personality, and a great bond that keeps them close, no matter how different they are. I just love this story!!!

Jilly: Wow! Thanks for the super comment! I am glad you think the kids are distinctive. It tells me I am doing something right! I think Danielle gets a lot from her dad. To persevere through rough times. His wife mysteriously disappeared and yet he still had responsibilities. I see Bella as a mix of her Mom and Dad. She is shy around strangers, but opens up when she knows you well. I think out of all the kids, she, and maybe Gina, are the most affected by her Dad's behavior and choices. That's why she didn't go head first into Eric's bed. Donnie is EXACTLY like his Dad. He worships his Dad, he wants to be exactly like his dad. He's also just a good looking teen boy that girls gravitate too, so there is no lack of opportunity ;)There wasn't a lot of Gina in this chapter. She was a boring teen. You'll see more of her while she's in college.
Karima: I don't remember how I killed Dina I was going to ask someone to remove her ghost from the picture actually, but wanted to post this so I could concentrate on another story without this distracting me.Thanks for reading! Glad you got to it before slow Internet access. Amylu: Saw the comment at LJ, thanks! Glad you thought it was good. I was nervous about the bit of French I added. How did I do?I thought Donnie might try to be suave using it and it would be funny that it came back to bite him the butt a bit. Of course, being his father's son, he was able to still turn it to his advantage later.

;D The French was great, I'd forgotten to mention it but it did make me laugh, I could just imagine the complex phrases he got in return when all he could ask for was salt!
