Oh goodness knows, it's a bit chaotic at the moment. At the rate they're all resigning, we'll have no politicians left to put forward a second referendum, but I hope so.  The builders are coming next week, so excited!  |

I voted on the poll! Thanks for the link to the original poll modelmgt, it did make it easier to see who was who. Things were rolling.  We've had some of the bathroom done, but today is not going to go as planned. The boarding for the walls and floor hasn't arrived yet, and the shower is due to be delivered any time today, so I've got the day off but can't leave the house until it's been delivered as I have to exchange it for the old one, and sign for it. So the builders are having a day off today, and it feels a bit like progress has stopped. Sooo, what to do with myself? *starts up bodyshop* |

I've finally started seeing some interest @boolprop with the votes but you have to click an extra thing to make the votes so far viewable. Only one comment apart from myself on the project there, which I find difficult to comprehend. Lol.. In other news they may have tempted me into another round of BNTM with the probability of a male model (I've only ever done one other since I started participating) and they're bringing no eliminations back from last time. May take a crack at intro pictures this weekend before getting into Freshnfruity writing. UPDATE: I've just gotten done fixing all of last year's(Elena Abbiati's)photos for BNTM where they're no longer linked to Boolprop. Gee, I've been needing to do that!  I did this so that I could include last year's post-link with this year's! ^ Nice builds, Jo! I finally sat down and figured out how to look at them. lol... I just put the Boolprop link up for R1 of BNTM 11 feat. Aleksander Kline. I haven't been around much lately -- I got sick for nearly three weeks (thank God for antibiotics!) and then this election has thrown me for a loop. I hope to get back to being more active, though. I miss you guys!

Glad you're feeling better Esmei! Good grief 3 weeks?? I hope it wasn't anything you couldn't get rid of. Yeah the elections were a pretty hot topic here for sure! Now the focus seems to be who Trump's electing to do what, as well as still being on the Obamas a little bit, as far as some little-known things, and what advice he has for Trump. Man, I know I wouldn't have been happy with either candidate, but I really don't know what Trump will do as president and that's scary. I was hoping to get right back on my legacy after the move, but I have the feeling work and xmas stuff may keep me busy instead. Maybe I'll get snowed in one day |

There was a third and forth party but from what I gather hardly anyone votes for them. I can't imagine Trump as president.
Also for those of you in the US, that Dakota pipeline? Sounds horrible. I feel very sorry for those people and that poor woman whose arm was nearly blown off. Seems like no one cares that peoples water will be polluted by oil and that the police can do anything they want and get away with it.

There were up to twelve candidates on the ballot in some states, but nobody here ever talks about more than the two big parties. Unfortunately, I *can* imagine Trump as president, and have been since about May. Not only water pollution, but they're trying to build a pipeline across land they don't own and that the people who *do* own say they don't want a pipeline built across. Native people historically got the short end of the stick, and unfortunately history isn't over yet. There's a curse: "May you live in interesting times." How do I become an Australian, Jo? modelmgmt, once I got on antibiotics, I managed to kick that cough, but I did strain my diaphragm with all the coughing. (You know, the big muscle that lets you breathe, goes across your whole torso just below bra-strap level?) I got the hiccups about four days after I was starting to feel better, and it was AGONY. |

I've seen other supporters from OZ, NZ, Netherlands, UK, its going global now thanks to YouTube. Trump apparently has close to a million dollars invested in this pipe line so no help will come from him, no doubt he's all for it. Tell you what when that line leaks and white America is affected then they will suddenly care. I heard they went right through a native burial ground. |

They are trying to go through sacred land, yes. I don't know exactly what makes it sacred, but it doesn't matter -- sacred is sacred, and not-yours is not-yours. I am not feeling optimistic about the foreseeable future...
In happier news, I have my niece and nephew over for a sleepover last night. We had a great time! They didn't want to go home this morning, and I could probably go to sleep right this minute (it's just past noon now) and stay asleep until time to get up tomorrow morning...

Haha, that's true! We were supposed to meet the rest of the family at a restaurant for brunch, and this place has pancakes shaped like Mickey Mouse, with M&Ms and whipped cream on them (which the kids love). Even with the special pancakes, though, they didn't want to leave. They said "Can't you go and we'll stay here and play? We promise we won't jump on the bed or make noise to bother the neighbors." Then they wanted me to come home with them from the restaurant.
I slept in really late this morning.
I sure hope that victory on the pipeline lasts!
