It's just spaced out a bit, that's all. Ch 7's pics are being worked on this weekend, and 8 is being written too. Since 7 is all Twinbrook, 8 may end up being all Bridgeport...and you'll finally get to meet a major character  with a big secret being revealed. |

Just read chapter 6 and loved it! Also seen the spoilers, so can't wait for when Guy and Toothpick wake up! Vintage Morecombe and Wise, I love Silvery Moon and it fitted this chapter so well, and it was a great way to switch scenes. Hmm, interesting memories coming up for Talson, that song really struck a chord with him, and twice in this chapter he's lost his temper a bit, are we seeing outward emotions appear in him at the same rate as in Tessa? Oh Talson, you think that braid's long, I've seen worse. But it seems right for him to have the haircut soon, he's changing so much and so is his world; time for a new look. Aw, Vidcund and Tessa, bless. I love how Vidcund just knows that Tessa's one of a kind, there's no other simbot like her! As always some brilliant story writing and wonderful details - loved all the bit about the space damage, the o-zone, the toxic seas, I like Sabine going off on tangents, it's fascinating stuff, and it feels so real! Great job Jilly. More soon?  |

Working on it now - I promise. RL has been kicking my butt a bit, but since I finished writing ch 8 yesterday, I'm ready to get ch 7 out there. I struggled with that song choice - Silvery Moon wasn't even in the running, and it came to me in a dream. As soon as I woke up, I was so happy! I wish I could have a transition fall into my lap like that all the time - there's so few instances were something plays out a connection like that! Thanks for noticing it, I was thrilled that it worked itself out. I had another dream (what's up with that?) that makes me want to rewrite a part of ch 1. I know that's a giant no-no, but I really think it'll be better for it. SHould I do it? OK, logging off and tuning on my game for those pics!!! Poor Tessa, imaging she'd be scraped like Elliot because she couldn't be useful  I love seeing Talson, the man, versus Talson the scientist struggle to do what isn't only necessary, but right. His reaction to that song was shocking! Like Tessa, we've never seen him like that. I love the imagery you gave of him locking his memories in the vault, but that's not a healthy thing to do.Hahahaha! That's what you get Ashley! You got your ass fired! And I hope Arlo does rip out your throat out! At least Talson knows your a fricken liar... Beatch!!! I have a feeling she hasn't given up though. I hope she doesn't cause too much trouble. The paparazzi? I have seen that in Val's stuff. Is that from AMB or the new one? how annoying does that get? |

It's from NL. In the NL city Bridgeport, it's a lot more common. You have to pursue fame, or know some one famous to get your star quality up. I cheated Tessa to "know everyone", then cheated her friendships to best friends with the celebs in order to get one to show up at their lunch.
Ashley...I'm afraid what she did to Rita was nothing compared to what she's got planned for poor Talson. She's not only evil, but smart, too, and that's a dangerous combination!
Tessa...there's a lot going on for her. Having Talson lash out at her like that, then try so hard to make it up to her...she's not sure of how to handle that.
And my poor Tal, he's really struggling to keep his past in the past, but it doesn't want to stay there, does it?
Thanks for reading (again!) Lol! And thanks for getting me thru that rough patch with their argument - that was so hard for me to write!

;D 'I'm trusting to you to make me the most handsome man in Twinbrook, Tessa'Objective achieved! Very nice haircut, let's hope my boyfriend looks that good. And very nice shots of sleepless Talson, made my morning. I really love how the friendship between Talson and Tessa is progressing, him automatically seeking approval and getting facts from her, her having to clarify what's rhetorical but still getting what he means and getting along. They're such a good little unit. ;D And the interview was great, Tessa's like the ultimate interviewee. So many milestones seamlessly fitted into the story; the haircut, the nickname, the venturing outside, it's so well written Jilly (and proof-read too of course, Holley). Oh but Ashley's really in a pickle now, oh dear me! Good on Talson for getting rid of her, he's a smart one. And Viggo Mortensen in the queue, he really is immortal to be waiting around for airships in the future! Another great chapter Jilly, I've just fallen in love with everything about this story. |

I love that Talson's not treating Tessa like she's just a machine or some hired help.
Wow, Rita certainly doesn't waste time, but where my money and future were concerned, I guess I'd act swiftly too. Ashley got what she deserves, but I'm so afraid of what she'll do now that she's in such a jam.

~ Sorry I did read this in the morning,but was so tired,I am only replying now!(after a sleep,& no I did not catch up on sleep,there was a big huntsman spider,roaming around!It crawled over my foot!they take ages to die,& this one was the size of my hand stretched out,& very hairy!)
~ I love the new hair cut!
~ Tessa thrown into the limelight,those paparazzi I hate them(I got a mod on MTS for them!)They are so invasive,stalker-ish even!
~ I am so glad,that Ashley got what was coming to her,but I have a very bad feeling that she has more in store,she would not give up that easily!
~ I know what Talson did with his memories was lock them away,but those type that touch the heart deeply can never be contained!
~ Tessa is getting so confused & upset at the reactions coming from Talson!Trying to do the best she can with what information she has at hand,& we can all see she will study this more!
~ She is delighted with a simple thing like a nickname!that speaks volumes!!!!!!!
~ I know there is more I could talk about but I will leave it there,till next time!lol!

I went ahead and rewrote chapter one, adding in a HUGE detail that was always in my head, but somehow, never made the page. I'll let you know when I fix the LJ page, but it's not required to read it. It just adds something that's so plainly screaming to be there.

Only one page behind on LJ updates now.  Poor Tessa, it must be very confusing for her. Even though she is 'only a bot' we all know she is a lot more. Talson's hair cut, so cute. Ashley, haha! Oh but what will she do now? Desperate woman do desperate things. Talson handled her very well. Her face as she looks at that poor desk receptionist though -scary! So is that like real paparazzi? Do they come and take 'famous' sims pictures? She's darn ugly. |

Yup - there were 2 that randomly showed up, but I had to make Tessa famous first. The other was blue-haired and tattooed, so she didn't really fit. The one that made the cut reminds me of Cruella DeVille from 101 Dalmations - except for the hair! Lol!
And you're right - desperate people take desperate measures. We won't see for a chapter or two while she's working out her plan, but she's working on one for sure.
