I have enjoyed y'all's work so much, it really made my weekend reading through and now I need to go back and check out Book One.
Did I read the comments for Chapter 14 correctly? You are using Sims 2 to tell this story? That completely blows me away...I did not know you could get that kind of realism from that game!

Okay, after endless problems with lot freezes and game crashes, Ch 15 is finally up. The pics are not the best, they're 'lazy' shots actually, but after battling with FRAPS and the game, I went back to basics, and cut out all the frilly stuff. So any failings in that area are solely on me.  Chapter FifteenAnd Seaweedy, you're right, we are using sims 2 to tell the story. I think Sims 2 has more realism than sim 3, really  Hope you like Ch 15 |

Thanks Karima. The weird part is only the Statham Island hood keeps giving me problems, specifically Dean and Kendra's house. The lot takes forever to load, and when I switch between the game and the desktop, the game crashes. And then FRAPS doesn't record the screens. I don't know if it's the lot of just the general hood  I'm taking shots for Fallen right now, and everything is A-OKAY which confuses me even more |

Please forgive me, I haven't started reading this yet. I've been really slacking plus following a few non DD stories I think I am trying to wait for those to finish? I don't know it's just a ton I read a day plus doing my own...
Anyway this seems like it's going to blow my mind. I know it will considering my love of Val's writing and the Co-op with Karima who is AH MAZ ZAH ZING!! I really will get to this one!
Also I have to agree with the Sims 2 thing...there are SOOO many animations that were removed with the release of Sims 3 but I has no more of my old games...sigh...
Incidentally (and sorry for the off topic) had any of you played the Sims Online game back when?

I'm hung over so please forgive this messy comment Affie's body kind of made me stop reading for a second. He looks like he belongs on top of some ice cream! I get the feelings that Storm really doesn't want to tell him that they are brothers but the again I can understand why. I feel for Charisse! Leonor... I sure how she has her own Quest . Appears to be someone she at least knows since they are taking care of her but she is headed down a dangerous path! |

Naughty Qui, LOL. Right now Storm's primary concern is the missing files. As soon as that's sorted he'll probably come around and tell Alfie and Lee the are all related.
He's supposed to uphold the law, so chances of Alfie getting away with it, are very little.
I agree, Leonor's lucky that whoever found her, knows her. It could have been much worse. |

I agree, Leonor's lucky that whoever found her, knows her. It could have been much worse. There is a "toughness" about Storm that I like. I see it with Vicky too. He doesn't let feelings and emotions cloud his judgement (not always) so I'm not surprised that he handled it this way.
SHE IS VERY LUCKY! If I'd woke up in a strange house, strange bed, I would have had a heartattack! |

I'm trying! Certain people who apparently care for me expressed concern over my "not being very social" or "not being a part of the dating scene" so I decided to go out. Still no Prince Charming or frog they may get kissed. lol
