YAY!!!!
I LOVE how the party was the catalyst for everything that happened - very clever plotting! Each important person had a big development there.
I loved seeing Kendra and Dean working it out. I hope a second opinion works out for them! How sad that Lee was able to help Kendra thru such a dark time, yet she herself is falling into her own blackhole. I so hope she gets the help she needs before it's too late!
Squee for a new sib for Starr! And I love Storm's toast - very witty. It's nice to see that side of him! (and Victoria was glad to see a side of him, too! Lol!)
Poor Alfy is in the soup now - I can't wait to see what decisions he makes, and what they'll bring. And will Storm catch him first???
So much action - I absolutely love this one! Way to come back!!!

Poor Lee! She needs help out of that dark hole before things take a turn for the worse! I have a feeling that the answers to the questions about their father won't make things any better.
I don't know how I lived all this time without Dean & Kenny!

Jill, we wanted to do a quick catch up on everyone before, before moving on to individual storylines. Exactly, but I think Leonor's character grew considerably in this chapter. Before she was just someone looking for fame, and a good time. But this chapter revealed the person behind the pretty face, and it's not all beautiful. For Kendra's sake I hope it does. I'd hate for her her to have hope, only to have it squashed by more bad news. If Alfonso can stop and pay attention long enough he'll see this 'dark cloud' isn't like any other one Lee's been through before. She's sinking very quickly. Ha ha ha. Yeah. Storm's such a horny toad. Any excuse for him to get into Victoria's pants. Yep, glad she was. Storm has many layers, and he is a pleasant man when things go his way. Stay tuned for chapter fifteen  Qui, wow, glad you thought it was powerful. You're right Leonor needs help asap, and Alf is her only life line.
Yeah Kendra and Dean, I just love how obsessed both of them are with money, and they don't try to hide it. They are both pretentious and vain to a certain point, but they still love each other to bits, and they make it work.
Victoria and Storm are both awkward when it comes to talking, but they make up for it between the sheets. I love that they are still so attracted to each other, and will do it anywhere, as long as they can get away with it. It keeps Victoria on her toes, and it's just adrenaline rush Storm needs.
The weird part is Cassie's observations. She has it wrong. She thinks her friends are content, and she finds their lives boring and stifling, but she couldn't be more wrong.
Yep, the someone else you know took after their dad in coloring, and his brother took after their mom, but they sure look like the "special friend" |

I just loved this update! When I start to read a long piece, I'm always a little overwhelmed, but this was really well organized and written. Centering it around one event, the party, made all the side stories come together. Instead of being confusing, it clarified everything. I felt so bad for Lee; Alfonso is so going to get caught and looking for long lost unknown father is not going to cut it as an excuse; Dean and Kenny...wow....
Just beautifully written, gorgeous shots (that orange with the silver blew my mind!), and very very tightly plotted.

Seeing as Val has answered everyones,I will answer SB! ;D ~Beth~ ~ I am pleased you think it worked, Val does not like long Ch's,or too many people in one sitting,but this had to be displayed that way,so the flow is smooth for the following Ch's!
~ Alf is Lee's life line,but at the moment he does not even know if he can help himself,love did not figure in his future, he has always been a love them & leave them kind of guy,until now,I think it has hit him hard,he is in love for the first time,& for her he wants to be a better person,but can he? & will he sort the mess he has created with the files?He has done some risky things before,but he has never been caught!I really think he thought he would get away with it,but now he knows it is only a matter of time!
~ So who will save Lee? when her twin is preoccupied with other things? And his world is crumbling down!
~ OK, I will stop there as it is just about another Chapter!lol!

Beth, I don't know how I missed this, but I'm glad Karima responded. Thank you for your wonderful feedback. As Karima pointed out, long chapters and too many people in one place make me antsy, and I try to avoid it as much as I can. I'm so thrilled to know you and Jill thought this extra long chapter worked. When he does get caught, that excuse won't fly. Lee hides a lot of things very well, if only she had someone she could reach out to. About the writing, we both try , we'll accept the compliment graciously though  We don't get many |
