What do mean, 'skipping a bunch of generations'? We wouldn't skip anything. Say if NO ONE else signs up, since you were first with gen 1, you would do gen 6 if no one signed up and I would do gen 7 if no one signed up, and so on an so forth. Nothing would be skipped...lol

I would rather be able to download the heir as a young adult on a block of land or house.

Also I think it's fun if you don't know what each person is going to do. It should be up to them what they do with the character.

Yeah, we are going to have to have them on a lot so that they don't lose all the skills, etc they have earned. Either that, or move them into the bin and upload them from there, which I think you can do in TS3 because I did it when I was trying to use my simself as my avatar at the Sims 3 website. I realized it when it wouldn't work as my av and I had to upload her from CAS.

Q? if my Downloads folder is on the desk top, would that be why my pics do not ALL show up on PB!they register as being there in file size on PB meter thingy! my pics do not show up anywhere on my PC, the only place you can see them is on the launcher! I am asking because I want to put two more Sims up!I have stacks of pics for all three, but so far have only found those two posted on the other thread!

Have you tried putting the download folder back where it belongs and checking? I thought once something was on PB, it was there for good and didn't need a link back to your computer to show the pic. Your S3 sim pics should be in your S3 folder in screenshots. If they're not there, then something's wrong, unless it has something to do with you graphic card not having the juice to show them.

You are correct Jill. Anything on a website NEVER has anything to do with what is currently on your computer.

Karima, I have NO CLUE what PB's is, but it has nothing to do with how/where pics are on your computer. If your pictures are showing in the launcher, that means they are, or should be, in your Screenshots folder in the game.

Open your sims 3 folder, the one in your documents, and then find the Screenshots folder. THAT is where your pics are saved when you snap them in the game. They should be there. If not, that's a new one on me because as far as I know, if they are NOT in your screenshots folder, they should NOT show in the launcher either.

I have been taking all my pics out of the screenshots folder and putting them in a folder on my desktop to organize for my story. As a matter of fact, I have been starting my game by bypassing the launcher, so I NEVER open it anymore!

ps .... I wouldn't even worry about positions on the list right now. This thing hasn't even started, so there is no telling how long it will take to around to everyone.

I already looked, & I think maybe Jilly hit the nail on the head, as I do not even have a sceenshot folder showing up in my folders for Sims3 or what is saved on my desktop & no folders for the pictures in Sims two either So I think it is the lack of juice this graph card has, it did work fine, until I put the last five EP's & SP on the PC! (then of course, was when it did the thing with no pics showing anywhere in my PC!It just can't handle it!)

Karima... you have the STRANGEST computer problems I have ever seen! lol I had your problems, I'd get a gun and shoot up every computer in sight!

It could be the case, but I just don't see why a folder wouldn't at least SHOW just because you have a weak graphics card. Graphics cards generally have nothing to do with your folders, programs, etc on your computer. They just deal with graphics, so even though, for some reason, your actually pictures were invisible, the FOLDER they are inside should still show.
