Hey guys. I was checking for news on the next EP and found some information on Snootysims. ( www.snootysims.com ) Anyway, apparently it's supposed to be "TS3 Generations". It's supposed to focus on the different levels of interaction between families. This makes me soooo happy. My sims' lives right now are pretty MEGA-ZOMGTASTIC on the town. But the home lot has become sososo boring. There's only so many times I can direct a "chat" between my sims without wanting to take an ice cream scooper to my brain. This is definitely the EP I was dreaming of. Unless it sucks butt and makes my game blow up...>_> Which it probably will. What are your thoughts? Like the idea or hate it? The next one better frigging be Seasons, too. -_-

TS3 generations i could probably see myself buying if it is as awesome as you make it sound. I can totally relate to wanting to take an ice cream scooper to the brain!! How many friggin times do they expect us to use the chat interaction? *tears hair out*
Seasons... Not so much unless they include a whole lot of new clothing and maybe a new town or two. Meh. I dunno... I'm just not excited about pets or seasons (no offence). Instead I'm looking forward to something totally new.

"With Generations, Sims of every age can enjoy new activities! Kids can hang out with friends in tree houses. Teens can pull hilarious pranks. Adults can suffer midlife crises. And so much more!"
I hope that means that now toddlers can be included on family vacations!
I wonder what they'll package with this EP? I can't see a $30 price tag (the usual EP cost) for some new interactions. Apparently, at least treehouses, from the quote above! Lol! I wonder if this will add a "Uni" type stage, since that would seem to go along with the 'Generations' theme?
I wish they'd redo 'Makin' Magic' from Sims 1. To have a whole magical town would be awesome!

Magic town...c: Oh yes. I remember the roller coasters and magic kits in Magic Town. Haha. That stuff was the bomb.
This treehouse thing sounds interesting. I hope that you can actually put the treehouse in a TREE and not just on pillars. I mean, it's a "tree" house, isn't it?
I seriously doubt that we'll get any sort of Uni with this EP. Although, we did get Apartments with Late Night...so maybe. I say 20% chance.
Maybe they'll add some sort of lovely town? Like Desiderata Valley or whatever.

I can't say I am extremely enthused about this expansion, with the name and such a brief description it isn't sounding to appealing to me.
Now if they brought in all new interactions for family members, lovers etc (bring back slow dance...pleaaaaaase!) then I might be a little more inclined to the idea.
I just don't see what else you can include with a expansion like this in terms of objects, I can't see myself spending the money just for some interactions.
I know apartments came with late night -if you can call them that really. TS2 apartment system was and is so much better!
I will have to see when the word comes official...if it is something I will be excited about...but for now I won't get my hopes up or even begin to brainstorm.

I'm with NyGirl. There'd better be more to this EP than just interactions and a tree house

Haha. I'm sure hoping there will be. I mean, EA waters down EPs...but not to that extent, right?

Hell, I hardly ever do much with families at all, so this one doesn't sound too exciting.... unless of course it makes doing the family thing more interesting to me.
I am with Val on the 'Seasons' thing. Having summer, winter, etc doesn't much matter to me, but I think it would be cool to at least have some freaking WEATHER! I mean, we do get sunny/cloudy days, so a bit of rain or a thunderstorm now and then would be cool. 'Seasons', though, is actually one of my favorite TS2 expansions. There was something about the site/sounds of the rain that added a touch of realism to the game that I found very cool.

I hope EA doesn't screw up "Seasons" with a disaster-weather thing or anything. A lot of people have been asking for tornadoes/hurricanes/earthquakes. Wait, didn't Earthquakes already come with Ambitions or something? :/ Anyway, I hate that idea. I don't want my simmies' homes being destroyed or anything. D:

I had an earthquake, but I think it was part of her job as a fire fighter. I was with the guy who was a private Eye and the ground shook and then she was called out on all these house emergencies because of the quake. She had to put out the fires, fix the gas leak from the stove and get some people out from under some rubble. But it took way longer then her shift and she was so tired she fell asleep while digging out the last person.

Hopefully if they DO put natural disasters in the game as a general rule, they will make it optional as to whether the player wants to have them. I mean, as in story progression, etc, how hard could it be to have an option to turn them off/on in the options menu?
