;)YEAH! Success!  ~ The new start up screen is very pretty,in pink & purple! ~ I have pictures,but can't get PB to load! ~ I am playing one of the game Vamps,Elvira Stricker,I found an underground lair,& all around it lives vamps,I will have to go check it out! ~ They smoke in the sun,run really fast(it is hard to get a pic of those,but I have a few!)Her life line is well over a thousand years,she eats Plasma fruit,(which can be grown!) ~ OK, I got PB to load,on with the craptacular pics! ~1. Elvira,once bitten they wear the mark of a Vampire! ~2. Willing the dart,to the dart board!Mind over matter! ~3. Getting stuck in the lift! ~4. Her happy grin! ~5. Plasma fruit!Yummy!(can be planted!) ~6. Sleeping! ~7. Sunburn! they smoke & spark,but do not die,they become very weak,until night or they have a sleep! ~8. Running fast to get out of the sun! |

Cool Karima! I can't wait to take pictures too. Yay for it working now! Where do you find the plasma fruit plant?

Awesome, Karima!!!! Those are some great pics! I finally had success, too. I uninstalled LN, ran from FL which then prompted the updates. Re loaded LN, and off we go! I chose a bin family, as I couldn't figure out how to choose an in-game household. (turns out I had the tutorial on !?!) I chose the Wolff Family that I copied to the library from another hood. This is the first vampire he met. He was carrying a baby, but while she looked mean, she didn't have her fangs yet. His eyes only got glowy when they were outside. I didn't even realize he was a vamp until I got a "Hunted" moodlet:  The people in the relationship panel that are ringed in red are all vamps. As his star power went up (I totally cheated - only to see how the gameplay would work) he got invited to a party:  Where he met another vamp:  (it was a pool party) This new vamp kept doing the "starving" motions, so since my sim had the want to become a vampire, I figured I'd let him do it, and kill two birds with one stone.  1) asking for it  2) getting it Here's what happened next:   So now my guy is a vamp, but he doesn't look any different yet. But there's a problem - the old vamp is still doing the starving thing.  He instantly turned to ashes, and Grimmy showed up asap! (I got no plead option, but I never have) Now here's the cool part...  A Vampire Ghost!  Grimmy took the urn, so I'm guessing it went to the cemetery. I MUST have one of these in my hood!!! ANd I'll leave you with an example of the sliders on 2 unchanged maxis sims: |

 The Wolf family comes with the original Sims3 base game,or has not anyone noticed the naming scene that EA has going,their names say who or what they are!(they live in the very big white house on a bluff with the sea on three sides off there house!) ~ Very deliberate on EA's count! ~ Disregard, maybe I'm just a crazy old woman!

That's them. If there's wolves, I'm guessing they'll come in a later EP. He does have that look about him, though. I got them divorced right out of the gate - they really don't like each other much. He rolled the want to become a vampire immediately.
Her LTW is to have 5 kids, and he hates kids. As a matter of fact, that vampire he met at the club was holding a crying baby, and he kept spouting off about it, which is when the hunted moodlet showed up.
I was really bummed that the other vamp died right after turning Thornton from thirst. I would've thought turning him would've solved that problem. Since the vamp wasn't controlable, I didn't know what else to do. But it was cool in the end to get to see a vamp ghost - how awesome are they?
The first apartment I chose is really small. Smaller than a starter home by far. After they divorced, I moved Morganna to one with a balcony, but I haven't played her yet to see it. I'll grab some apartment shots tonight after work if someone doesn't beat me to it.
BTW, my mods folder was still out, so those hairstyles were all Maxis. (I still haven't put it back in, but I will tonight. I'm going to try that tutorial Val linked & see if I can get it to work for me!)

Jill, I will give you a little clue,the Vamps know what blood type is the best for them,& obviously Thornton's blood was the wrong type! ~ I'm playing a Vamp & having fun,with mind reading & mind control! My Vamp eats the fruit,& has raided both the Hospital(Plasma!) & the Grocery store,(Plasma fruit!)Free stuff!(I would never do this type of thing in RL,so it is a walk on the wild side! ) ~ I have been roaming around!I have not had her HUNT yet! ~ There is Vamps everywhere in the city!I have found two different types(Different blood types,makes different Vamps,indicated by their eyes!)The one that bit Thornton has red eyes,(her enemy!)the one I'm controlling has red eyes!The others have grey eyes!(I am sure there is more,I have not played for long enough to find out!)That's why she has not bitten anyone because it has to be the right blood type! ~1.Example of two different blood group Vamps,Red & Grey eyes!At Club Plasma! ~2&3.Elvira gets a make-over!( In her unit!At home!)Yes her eyes do glow indoors! ~4.He is her Enemy,but it is a good pic of the body sliders,in action!nice chest! ~PS~ My mods folder is in with no fuss,but I am still having problems with the EADM,it keeps throwing error messages at me!
