Hey, Jo, don't be embarrassed! Feel free to ask, I'll help if I can! By the painting with the lady in it, do you mean Decorgal's talk hack? You just have to click on it and choose what talking actions you want your sims to do. I usually have to try out a few before I can get the animation that is suitable for the text, so do take your time. I'm not sure how many pose boxes are necessary though. I have too many, and I don't use more than half of them on a regular basis. I started out using pose boxes only as I thought animation boxes are only useful for movies, but I'm starting to find animation boxes more useful as they give a variety of poses just by pressing pause at different times. Moreover, they come with expressions (which I absolutely love to focus on, hence my overuse of close ups, heh) which facial overlays from Decorgal's modelling hack can't provide.

Quite a few animations and poses are repeated in many animation and pose boxes, for example, JD's animation box and Aikea Guinea's paintings have quite a lot of same actions. I usually use JD's animation box if I know the animation I want is in there, as Aikea Guinea's paintings have soooo many animations that it can be very hard to find what you want. I didn't have the fire extinguisher or hula hack though. I'm trying to cut down on it already.

lol, maybe you can try to cut chapters down whenever you find a cliffhanger? That can make the story more interesting.

Hey, Karima, thanks for being so supportive all the time! 8) It makes me so excited to see your enthusiasm! This chapter is one of my personal favourite just for the fact that I get to shoot Zaelem at all kinds of angles that I want, lol! It's so fun to really focus on one character.

And, lol, Jilly, you got an awesome Zae fix huh? Oh yea, me too. I never realised how much I actually liked to work with him. ^^ He and Mejaine has a loooooong history, which I'm planning to reveal only much later. Thanks for the comments and the love! X)

yeah I know you click on it, but I didn't know about this looping business. You said you set it so they do different animations repeatedly. There's stuff on the menu of these hacks I didn't understand so I didn't try them. I've been freezing each sim and using that painting and other pose items, unfreezing then refreezing to get a different pose/look. I didn't know you could just set it to keep them doing it.

Hula and more is actually added to every sims pie menu, rather then being something external that you place. So you have it even downtown or on holidays and everyone from child up has the option. You just click on the sim and choose the animation.

I love my pose boxes & other similar things, but when I did finally put a story out there the CC let me down as none of it would work, so I had to do it the old fashion way with the army career reward, even some of the pics Zero was wearing a different out fit because I did not realize & had to hand paint the darn out fit to match the other one he was wearing! Sorry Jo, I meant to say to back up your game & just play with the boxes !!! thats how I learned what to do with them, I had one child & dad & a robot, I learned a lot of things just by doing that & had a lot of fun overlaying things I got some very weird but funny results, it also taught me not to be so scared of them as I use to think it would mess my game up big time, but it never did!

Oh no, Jo I meant, Aikea Guinea's paintings already set the sim to do animation on loop replay. You don't have to do anything else to make it loop reply and you can't make it NOT loop replay anyway, which can be annoying sometimes. You can only click it away from the sim's queue to make the sim stop the action. Do try out all the actions if you can! Like what Karima said, I used to be scared to use them too, but they turned out to be really useful. My solution to taking shots in community lots (without the Hula hack) is to keep all the boxes in a sim's inventory. XD

Well I have put that in, just haven't tried it yet. Sounds interesting.

I very rarely use community lots now unless one of the sims owns it. I use residential and summon those I want or sometimes change the zoning. I have a buyable bin and mail box now which helps a lot. Tina also added a startup cheat file and I can access buy mode on regular community lots now as well.

Wow, Jo, I didn't know you can buy bins and mail boxes to change community lots to residential. Are the downloads on MTS2? That sure is going to be helpful!
