Unfortunately, no Holley, we don't get to venture into Paris. Sure would be nice, though. Hey, maybe if they do a nightlife-type expansion, they'll add a major big city to the adventure worlds! How cool would that be?

Nah... EAxis would never do something as awesome as that for us...

Hopefully I can start working on the next segment later. Sorry for the cliffhangers....not...lol! They keep everyone curious. Actually, it was sort of necessary because I had to end it soon and that was the best place to do it.

Hello dedicated reader! You may notice that some of my picture-taking is a bit lacking in this segment. I assure you there is a reason for this:

This house got me SO frustrated and lost that I was about to pull my hair out to get through it! And please... do NOT ask me how I made it through because I didn't make it through the 'proper way'. Oh yeah, I cheated my ass off to get through there!

First, I want to say that Nellie really did use escape dust as depicted above. That was before I learned this little thing that comes in real handy for a few things. If you enable testing cheats, you can shift-click on the ground on community lots and enter buy/build mode (by the way, the GENIUSES at EA made the bathtub in the shack unusable by placing the toilet too close to the tub, so I used that cheat to move the wall and make it bigger).

As well as entering buy/build mode, shift-clicking on the ground also gives the option of 'teleport here'... so, I teleported poor Nellie all over the place to get past various traps, etc, just so I could be sure and finish her mission....lol. I may not have done it that way if I were not writing a story, but for story purposes, she HAD to make it through! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story.

That looks and sounds really hard. So you didn't figure how to disarm any of those traps? How do you normally disarm them? The other thing I was thinking of the whole time is where are the people that live there?! And how could people live there with those traps. I always asks those kinds of Questions when we watch a movie and Dh says "It's a movie! Don't ask!"

It's a game, Jo, don't ask!

This is not an actual residential home of any sims. It's an adventure lot, therefore it's considered as a community lot. The house is really cool, so far though, from what I've seen. It could be rebuilt as a residential home and be really cool... maybe.

Sometimes the traps are disarmed by inspecting holes and finding secret switches. Sometimes they are disarmed by pulling/pushing statues on top of them. Lots of times, they are disarmed by getting burned by them once...lol! Sometimes, if your handiness skill is high enough, you can disarm them directly by clicking on them and choosing 'disarm'. Right now, I think Ellie can disarm fire traps and maybe steam traps, but she is still at only level seven in handiness skill, so she doesn't know enough to disarm the electric or dart traps.

So how does she get passed those.. or is that where you cheat? Is there a way to cheat skills? If this was in sims 2 I would cheat the skills, the money and use maxmotives lol. You know if I just wanted to see a sim get through.
