btw, you live in a wonderful time to be diabetic. there are all sorts of sweeteners you can use to make cakes, cookies, etc.
Splenda was a GOD SEND to me when I had gestational diabetes. They have cook books and candies and anything you can think of now.

There's never a wonderful time to be diabetic.  I think mine is mostly because of this stupid Prednisone because it raises blood sugar levels.  |

Oh, I know. Thanks.  I'm just so damned bummed out about this thing. It truly sucks. Main problem is the stupid doctor didn't even give me a list foods, etc I should definitely avoid. I've been researching online and I have learned that I need to cut out carbs and carbs is one of my favorite things to eat. I HATE artificial sweeteners, but that is what I've been forced to use in my coffee. *sigh* Plus, having to stick my finger with a needle four times a day really bites! It's only been a week since my diagnosis and I'm already going nuts. Oh well, back on track a little: I played my game some to move it along to where I could get the screen shots I need, but it didn't get far enough. |

I actually didn't mind the finger poking...
When I was diagnosed I had to take a class. I don't know what health insurance you have, but I would think there would be some sort of info passed along.
Right now, i don't know what to do. i have the hicups REAL BAD! Argh!
