It IS a nice computer, but only if you have someone who can work on it yourself. There was a huge problem with the cd drive/burner. After a month of them trying to talk us thru fixing it, they finally sent us a whole new pc that - would you believe, had the same problem. Finally my dh just went to our computer store & for $35, we bought her a cd/dvd burner that voided the warranty, but made the pc useable. (we never did tell my ex, who was the one yelling about not voiding his warranty)

Harley, the 'Viper' tower is made by 'Xtreme Gamers', I have no idea which country it comes from, but that is the name on the little booklet that came with it! I have heard many a horror story here in OZ about Dell, they have a reputation, but not the one, that they were hoping for!

How good is an Apple computer? Some say it's good but complain about all the updates.

They are good, but not really geared for gaming..
They cost a small fortune..Their techs charge outrageous for fixing them
They used to be virus safe..But not any more. They have finally been hacked
They have a HUGE learning curve to those coming from Windows...
Got that...Viper case...Thanks..No link to the builders site?
