I'm surprised more folks don't like the Beast - the motorcycle. Astral sure loves it!

Not much went on last night except for a bunch of sculpting, so here's a peek at some of the stuff they can make:

Juni finally grew her 10 life fruits and delivered them to the science lab. Now she has to get a heart cut pink diamond and she'll be able to get her robot unlocked as an invention!!!

(I have found out that the Robot Friend is also available as a Lifetime award - I believe it's 40,000 points. I've read that the one you get as an award is rusty, where the one you can build is shiny & new.) Since I'm so close, I'm going to have Juni build hers.



I've also found out that you have to get a certain number of gems cut before you're give the option for a heart cut. (boo!) I have 3 pink diamonds ready to cut, but I have to collect enough of other gems to have cut into the other shapes so I can earn the heart cut.
Thank GOD for the collection helper (also a lifetime reward) which makes whatever I need to find shine like this up close, and marks them on the map view as well. If you've never used this- you MUST.



So, while Juni's out in the town with her Miner digging for gems, (this is how we found the pink diamonds)




I have Astral scuplting his brains out.

When they both finish up, Juni has to go to City Hall and collect another award, so Astral goes with her.





These are some of Juni's awards - she has more now. (Astral made the metal chair - he's actually made a pair of them now.)


Afterwards, they stop to drop some stuff to sell at the consignment shop. Turns out, you get money for your consignment sales, but to advance in a self-employed career like Inventor & Sculptor, you have to sell the items by either clicking on them (sculptures) or dragging to the "sell" box in your inventory. (Inventions) Doing this will advance you up in the career.



This is the Hippy's house that lives next door to the shop & runs it.





At the shop, Juni buys herself a mummy music box. I put it on the counter at home, and she walks up to it, winds it, opens it, and sways to the music as the mummy inside spins. It's so cute!

From there, they decide to get Astral a new 'do. Looks like Juni is plotting some fashion revenge for that horrible outfit they saddled her with last time!



Here's one of the new hairs for males. They really give us a bunch in this EP for guys - long and short.



Once again, I separate them. Juni goes to the scrap yards to make the BIGBOOM - this is her BIGBOOM face. (aparently, you gain skill by the number of things you blow up.)




Astral makes an Ice chessboard (which, after he reaches the right skill level, will NOT melt! Yay!) and a few other things...





Yup. That's a bathroom sink.




So I leave these two creating until I get home & have Juni mine for more gems to cut. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow will bring me that elusive heart cut option, & I'll have the Robot Formula!!! Mwahahahaaa!!!

I might have to look into that. I read on Carl's guide (linked above) that I'd have to travel to the other countries to collect all the gems possible before I can unlock that heart cut. I don't mind working for something, but Geesh!

I'm enjoying looking at these pictures. The game looks like fun.
I am a little disappointed that there are still CC issues.

Too bad you can't blow things up WITH YOUR MIND! I guess a robot is a good consolation prize.

I sent Juni and Astral to China in hopes of collecting whatever gem she was lacking to get the heart cut for gems option, and low and behold, she found it! (I'm not sure which was missing, it just said she had to collect 10 certain gems.) She sent the pink diamond out in the mail to be heart cut, and got it back the very next day! Off to the science lab to deliver it!



After she dropped it off, they wanted her to bring back 100 pcs of scrap. Due to her blow-up spree at the junk yard a few days before, she had way more than that with her, she she went right back inside to deliver that, too.



FINALLY!!! The opportunity is here! Juni rushes home to start work immediately!




While she toils away on the "Mystery Invention", Astral works on a stone sculpture. His stone breaks, but in it's place, he finds a really big gem...



Lol!!! I haven't done anything with it yet, but maybe I can get it cut or something...




It's ALIVE!!!!!! They said it couldn't be done!!!! Juni has created LIFE!!!!



This is the option that pops up right away....Juni chose to adopt this one, but the opportunity says she can now make more. I WILL be sending some out into the wild!




The game shows Alice (I named her that because I loved Nicole's character of Alice in her story! Thanks, NIcole!) as Juni and Astral's daughter. This leaves me with a problem, as I was hoping to have Juni make her a boyfriend.

Since Astral has a ridiculous amount of Lifetime Award points, I had him purchase the 40,000 pt "Best Friend". This simbot comes into the family as Astral's best friend, and is NOT related!



Alice comes out to meet Clayton. (I got to name Alice, but Clayton came already named.)



And here's the happy couple getting to know each other!
Notice how Alice is shiny and new, while Clayton is rusty. It does not let me paint them, but I hear there's a mod somewhere that allows it. I'm going to look for it when I get home tonight, unless someone already knows where it's at.

Also, Clayton wants to be a fireman - his LTW, so I'll get to try that career & see all the earthquakes, etc.

Cool! SimBots! LOL isn't there a picture of the woohooatonium or whatever it's called? I can't wait to see what Clayton gets up to. I've got two cousins named Clayton, they're actually Clayton and Clayton Jr. Clayton Jr. is about four months older then me, he's fun...

;D Sorry I just went & had a thorough look at MTS & could not find a re-color option/mod for Robots! (I did find the gem mod though! at MTS!)Google is my Friend,but I will have to try it later, as I is tired!

Thanks for checking, Karima! I found some different colored simbots on the exchange, and the creator said they used a mod to color them. Of course, they didn't say what mod or where they found it! Lol! Those were all one color - not lke the ironman one in Holley's Machima that she linked.

Sorry, Pixx! I thought I took a pic of the stone, but I couldn't find it, so maybe I didn't hit my "C" key hard enouh to take the pic. I don't know what Woohooium is or what it does - Im going to have to google it. The good news is it's still in his inventory, so I can still grab a pic of it next time I play.

I love the simbots, too, Jo! I didn't know if I would, but Alice wants to do sweet family interactions all the time, like hugging. I was surprised it considers her a "daughter", and I'm definitely going to make another to send into the wild - I suspect it just puts them in a random house in town.

Holley, I just put my folder back in - I put it where it used to be, but I haven't restarted my game yet, so we'll see.

Aw, the robots are so cool! They look more individual and interesting than the Servos in TS2, although I love the fact that there's a Servo statue in the Science Institute. Can't wait to see Clayton's adventures, and he and Alice are so sweet together, aw.

Also, I laughed so much at Woohooium, does it look like a purple heart with eyes?
