;D I just placed My two Aliens,from Sunset valley!(in Twinbrook!) And they have a Simbot,the father now wants to be a Monster breeder! The son is still a teen,& as yet has no long term want!

OK, so now I've just seen the pics from page three. OMG at time-machine babies! Hmm, it almost seems to me they've gotten backwards. It seems the past kids should be older while the future kids should be younger, but I could be the confused one...lol

Oh man, I SO want this game!

I'm so tempted to buy a simbot with Slade's aspiration points but I heard they die And Stefanie's taking forever to reach level 10 of the inventing profession. She's still level 8 and has to earn $18 000 before she reaches level 9 Jill how did you get your sims to get to level 10 so quick

Well...I DID cheat their motives, so they didn't get tired, hungry, etc. (you guys know me so well... Lol!)
Also, when building, I put the speed on 3, since nothing else was going on but Juni inventing and Astral sculpting. (this was before they had any kids in the house)

I followed the skill challenges in the skill journal - she had to make 250 widgets for complete the widget challenge, so I picked the smasher, because they were made the quickest & cost the least amount to make. Then the big invention challenge for 100 big inventions - I chose the floor hydrogenator for the same reason. The harvester goes pretty quickly, too.

I found out that, they make more money for their inventions if they sell them at the consignment store, but I didn't think they were counting on her experience bar when I did that. Since I started dragging the inventions from her inventory to the "sell here" square there, her bar goes up much more quickly.

They both reached the skill level 10 pretty quickly, but the career levels STILL aren't at 10. Astral is at 9 1/2, and Juni is still at 8. It's weird to have 2 levels like that. I didn't realize it at first.

Clayton is a purchased Simbot, and he's been doing fine. His life bar is almost as long as Alice's, who was created. The only real difference that I can tell is the purchased ones are rusty, while the created ones are shiny. (and some are darker metal - Alice is darker than Electra, which Donta made.)

And Karima, I love the robot moves, too! I like when they just spin a specific body part - their head, or their waist.

Tina, yeah, I thought the same thing about the age of the "paradox" kids. It seems backwards to me, too!

I've heard you get random kids from just travelling, but I've sent Juni 15 trips so far, and no kids without the "try for baby" option.

cool, I'll try the widgets challenge and the big invetions one. Yeah, Stefanie reached the skill level pretty quickly, it's just the career one that's taking forever But I guess it's okay since there's not enough room in their small cabin anyway for a third resident

Actually, she can build both the time machine and the robot with only the skill level at 10. Juni made both and still hasn't reached career level 10. You just have to keep using the "invent" option. You'll get a message that tells you when you've invented everything there is. After you get that message, you'll get a call from the science lab to start bringing them ingredients. I think they want the palladium first, then the heart-cut pink diamond, then 10 life fruit, and last is 100 units of scrap. You'll need to invent the miner in order to find those first 2, and you'll need to start collecting gems and sending them to be cut in order to work up to getting the option for the heart cut.

No worries. Check her Skill Journal. It will show the percent of inventions she's discovered. If she's 100%, then you're good to go. If not, keep selecting the "invent" option.

If they've sent you for palladium, your on the robot track. You have to find it with the miner, so if she hasn't invented one yet, she'll need to. Also, if you don't have a cheat for the life fruit, you might want to start her skilling in gardening, too.

That's why Astral is further along - because Juni had to skill up in gardening. (I now have the fruit hack from MTS)

If you've got the aspirartion points, get her the collection helper. That will make the gem search SO much easier, plus you'll find more seeds (life fruit) and metals, too.

;D Dang, I could of helped here.......my community garden has LIFE FRUIT!I have the lot saved to the launcher,but it is not on EX as such, because of what happened with my last lot, otherwise it would have been up weeks ago!I had it ready to go after I put the Curious lot up,but it has been sitting in my game for a couple of months waiting for me to upload! I just needed it to be tested first,though it works very well in my game!

I played some yesterday. Stef got the call again and she took the paladium now she has to bring ten life fruit. And surprise surprise Slade had a life fruit in his inventory. I don't know where he got it from but I guess he's looking out for his Red and he's level 7 in gardening so I had him plant that and a few special seeds. I'm hoping the special seeds he planted turn out to be life fruit ;D And yeah, he also found the pink diamond while exploring the mine shaft so I quickly moved to that Stef's inventory. Now I'm just waiting for the life fruit to grow. I also did up the little cabin they're staying in, I'll post some pics of the renovations ;D

Jill, guess what I had my 1st earthquake today after freaking forever. ;D *does happy dance* and it was super awesome. The screen did shake and I almost had a heart attack because it happened out of the blue I'll post some pics maybe tomorrow or so but it's really not much, the usual stuff, pulling sims out of rubbles, putting out fires and fixing gas leaks.

Stefanie finally delivered the life fruit and now she has to get the heart shaped pink diamond but gosh it's so hard finding gems; so far she's only gotten 39% of the gems.

Slade got his LTW, he's saved 30 lives so now my focus will be on Stef and getting her the three monsters she wants ;D Any luck on that on your side

This is random and shouldn't even be in this post but Val's first earthquake inspired me to announce that I'M WATCHING MY FIRST TRUE BLOOD EPISODE!!
