The problem is guesing how long it'll take for the glitch to show up, if it shows up!

i guess the best way to test would be to have a sim get pregnant. Switch houses for several days and then go back to see if she had her baby or not.

I tried it in Riverview with story progression and aging off. When I left house 2 and went to edit town I didn't even have to switch households, the household picture showed house 1 had had their baby while I was playing house 2. Only way is to make new games if I want to play both houses. Tina maybe you can walk me through how to set up the file so turning SP off actually turns it off? Stupid EA. I can't believe they haven't patched this yet!

I don't even know what thread or what files to which you are referring, Jo. Maybe a link to the thread that mentions the workaround will help...lol Even then, I don't know if I'll be able to help until see what it is you're supposed to do. Hell, I don't even bother around with switching households in TS3 because all that crap just plain isn't worth it to me...lol

Holley put the link in her thread. But it's too late now to find it, I need to get to bed. It was past 2 when I got to sleep last night. And it's gone 11 now.

Ya wuss! I was up until about three o'clock this morning while I waited for my chapter to upload. Ah well, I'll wait until you get back to find it for me because I don't which thread or which page it's on. Sleep well Jo!

That's really a bummer, Jo! I wonder if the SP/EP makes a difference? You could always do like Tina and make a different save for each house, but when you visit, things won't be right, will they?

Sorry Jo, just caught up with the pictures again! I seem to miss this because of the time zones or something, but I love all the kids and Lachlyn has grown up a cutie, lovely pjs too. ;D Look forward to hearing from them all soon, and blimey Grandma is 98! Wow, that's an interesting and old ghost.

Grandma is so funny! Does she have the "inappropriate " trait?

Grandma is fun. I'll have to look at her traits again.you know me I can't keep these traits straight. But she always points and laughs at birthdays and she likes 'freaking out' when she gets off work so that probably is the innoprpiate trait. Amylu, thanks for looking. Sorry my picspam is in dribs and drabs around this thread. It can't be easy to keep up with. Grandma is now 102!

;D I would be very careful with the flirt or any of those interactions if your Sim is married, as Gossip can kill you Sims marriage, & also it depends on what traits your Sims have as to how they react,I had a male Sim flirt with a married women, standing next to her husband, she refused the flirt, but it did ruin the marriage, the husband, had the good trait & I think that is what did it! even though the female Sim, did nothing & shot the other Sim down, the husband still, reacted badly,he slept on the couch, for a bit,but the gossip got back to the family, & he left! And that was all because of a flirt, & not even a successful flirt, at that!

And that was all because of a flirt, & not even a successful flirt, at that! THIS is what I find so stupid about EAxis' programming! If someone flirts with me, but I don't flirt back and actually reject the flirt, I wouldn't expect my hubby to get that upset! Also, I think they should have mades sims smart enough to NOT flirt in front of their lovers. How stupid! lol Yeah, thanks for posting it here, Holley, but I got it! I, personally, don't think it's worth messing with. They are, after all, just pixelated people and if you're not playing, who cares how their lives turn out? But, I know others get more attached than I usually do...lol

I agree very stupid! They look around before stealing a gnome, so I am sure they could have done something similar before flirting with someone else too. Have some kind of 'token' that registers when they have a mutual crush and above so that they check their partner is not in the room at least. For both TS2 and TS3. When you do a legacy and raise them from babies, I at least like to see they are doing ok. If they would skill for their jobs, get married and so on without assistance I wouldn't feel the need to change houses. But no instead they stay in their level entry jobs, have children with strangers and get fat. If I swap to the adult kids house I bet when I get back the kids will all be C in school and ghost grandma will have gone and my couple died. So I either try this file thing and hope it works or I never let Jade leave home.
