Well if that's the case there isn't any point in me playing and getting them some promotions then. >sigh< This is one of my main beefs with Sims 3! I like playing my spares! And those I don't want to play I had hoped would 'do something'!

Some random pics over the next few days and two more firsts! They adopt another child, because yes I am crazy. She looked better after a hair change, but while it's hard to see there, she has purple eyes! I changed her hair and eyebrows in the mirror later. Charlie has now rolled up that she wants to be enemies with her MIL. Most of this stems from grandma enjoying scaring Charlie. I thought she was at home too much so sent her downtown. I go back and find her flirting with some stranger! What happens if they do this in front of their spouse? Charlies new cat burglar suit. My kids watch that bus driver too. Jade had to take a fish specimen to the lab for an opportunity, and I find her afterwoulds reading a pregnancy book? She has collected quite a few gems And someone found a mysterious Mr Gnome! My first. Not sure who, as I found him in the families inventory box. Do fishbowls change? I'm sure that looks different. Also is this the only fish house? No proper tanks? grandma playing 'computer games' I watched a while and the black screen didn't change. Ghosts play really exciting games it seems. The house now, I added a garage, and a car. One birthday that I nearly missed, which is bad seeing it's lachlyns. "I didn't even get a cake or anything!" No, but look you got a floor show! The repair lady watched and passed out! He also got some awesome purple jammies- with bunny slippers!

NICE jammies, Jo! What do you THINK will happen if her husband catching her flirting with someone else? He'll get upset, of course! Yep. Those fish bowls suck! I don't understand why they didn't give us proper aquariums with this game.

Lol, well I thought he might, but I haven't seen that happen yet, so I wondered. I accidentally had her greet Old Landgraab outside their house with a flirty greeting instead of 'funny'. Luckily no one saw that. What about the butterflies and bugs? No way to keep them then? So if you have a sim who wants 13 fish...you put them all in those bowls? How stupid is that. I forgot to mention, that lee got his LTW plaque when lachlyn aged up to teen. Charlie just toped criminal and got hers too. Poor grandma will never get hers as she also wants 5 kids. I tried the change LTW reward, but I don't think any are achievable, although I guess I could try. I have no idea how long she will last. She is 102 now.

Yep, if you want lots of fish, aka 'the perfect aquarium', you have to place fish bowls all around your house. When a sim sees his/her SO flirting with someone else, he/she will get an 'upset' action his/her que. Then they'll tell them they're upset and the relationship takes a hit. They don't immediately go bullistic and start slapping like in TS2. It happens a LOT when a sim has the 'flirty' trait. I guess that's why they added the 'no jealously' perk to the rewards list...lol The only to 'keep' bugs is in your inventory, but there's really no point in doing that forever. It helps in WA, though, when you get an opportunity to deliver some bugs/rocks to someone.

Oh! Lachlyn grew into a cutie! I think he is quite handsome. He'll make some cute babies as heir.
I don't bother w/ the fishing and bugs anymore. Unless I make a Sim that has such a want i will most likely just sell those things. I do like the stones though. My Explorer has an extensive collection. It helps to get that Collector perk.

Lachy is such a cutie! Did you decide to make him heir? I hope so!
So far, all the simself houses I'm playing in rotation with aging off are keeping everything as it should be, so hopefully it'll stay that way!
There's a regular big fishtank in HEL. I like to put huge fish in the fishbowl, like a shark. The turn tiny! Lol!

Holly: I think he got better looking on his teen birthday. I was looking at that for Jade until she rolled the tinkering LTW. Now she rolls more wants to fix and upgrade things instead of collecting. Have you tried the most expensive one, the teleport device? I bought that with Lee's LTW bonus. It's an actual object they can all use. Jilly: Yes I decided being purple he should be heir. I will also have Jade live there until I am sure this aging/story progression thing is fixed. I went and looked at the thread on this at the exchange, but I see in the last posts someone saying it still isn't working, so I don't know what to do. I'm scared Grandma will disappear if I change active households. A regular fish tank in HEL. You will have to explain that one Jilly.

High End Loft stuff. A big, rectangle-shaped fishtank on a big stand.

That is some kind of SP? I have heard it mentioned around before. I'm too scared to get any EP or Sp's in case my computer can't run it. Last night it seemed to be strugling with the house. I had it on speed two and the sims would go and then stop, go and then stop like everything was paused for a second.

I'm scared Grandma will disappear if I change active households. Jill said hers seemed to be working OK and I am currently experimenting too. If you want it to stop for sure go to that link in the Story Progression thread. The moderator said you could add a key to the address or something that would make it permanent.

I noticed that... fiddling around in files..errr. If Tina knows how to I might, but not by myself as something is sure to go kaboom.

I have all the patches, and all the games, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I only lost everyone when I left aging on and tried to play rotation.

I guess I could test it by starting a new game with those two turned off. I figured I would do aging off as well. Do a new hood and play a few houses that don't matter. I just put Riverview back in so I could test it there.

The moderator said the patch fixed it so... I know, I know, Eaxis says a lot of thing. It's a good idea to test it w/ a new hood if you want to be sure.
