Yes! I just found it last night! Doing this will make it like TS2. Nothing will change but in the house your currently playing. Then, if you want to switch active households you don't have to worry about someone dying, or aging up, etc.
Just remember to take EVERYTHING out of their inventory or it won't be there when you come back.

Crap - I didn't know that about their inventory! I always have them carry their guitars and such with them!

Jade is a sweetie - She has a very sweet face & her personality seems great despite her traits. Are you having fun with Ghostie Grandma? She looks really fun to play, and I love how she laughed at her daughter-in-law!

I did turn off story progression, but wasn't sure if that was 'static' so good to know. It was under there I was getting EA's corny blurb of 'dynamic and interesting lives' Lol they get fat and broke and have kids with strangers more likely it seems. Half of my town is fat.

So there is no way to kick out without them losing their inventory then? Jade has a nice polished ruby she found. It's a toss up between jade and Lachlyn for heir. If I get that far. I'm starting to get a teensy bit bored. I should probably start shooting my heirship chapter. This is after all my way of procrastinating on dragging out the pose boxes.

Yeah I figured he was hot. His nose is a bit weird, but it still suits his face somehow. I was thinking the same thing Holley, breeding material.

Just caught up with this Jo, I had missed it so thanks for the pm, it was nice to see some more TS3 picspam and this family look so fun! ;D I do love purple and Charlie's such an interesting sim, the kids are all cute too.

Well... I don't think turning off Story Progression stops S*%#! I switched houses for a couple days and when I went back to the other house Cynthia, Gustave's wife, had her baby. So, not exactly sure what disabling does.
Just thought you might want to know.

lol, anyone else download this free computer? And what is up with the lord sponge stuff? Is this supposed to be the sims 3 god in place of grilled cheese and potties from sims2? Weird looking computer.


Lee is now some kind of sports star and came home wearing this and never takes it off! Even after a shower.


I find it wrong somehow that a clumsy, unlucky person would take a hammer to a stove to upgrade it. Jade has finally got a LTW to be a tinkerer.

I decided to hunt down Sam, who is Lee's grown up son. (yeah I finally have a name, and wasn't that a hard one to remember.

As I thought of sims just left to themselves not good. I went looking as Lee had the wish to throw him a birthday. Poor Sam is still a fan in the music career even though he has been gone his entire YA life.
Yep real dynamic and interesting EA!


He did get changed for the party at least. And I had him blow out the candles, as I didn't know how else Lee could hold Sam a birthday party.


Did,'t work, it was still Lee's party and not Sams. I think the guy looks like he's getting over the flu and needs a good sleep and a feed!

I like how lachlyn autonomously interacts with his family members.

I just missed an autonomous hug with his mum. Then they had a nice chat.

I thought this was sweet. I found Grandma(who is now 98!) and Lachlyn outside playing tag.



I left his outfit on, but made the jumper vest more purple looking.

A couple more birthdays.

This is Cameron, evil, virtuoso, mooch. Who somehow lost his excitable trait and now only has three traits instead of four.


Grandma:"Haha you look like a girl!"

Grandma always points and laughs at birthdays and makes inappropriate comments. I forget what trait Cameron rolled. But now he is a YA I will kick him out and adopt the sixth child that both Charlie and Lee want.

I grow Melissa into a child a couple of days early. She must be a quick learner as she had three toddler skills, all her skills from the block table, the peg toy, the xylophone as well as from two books.

She looks a little plump, although that might be the EA Sims 3 look. Still this is an athletic family so I'll get her to work out just to be sure. She does have the athletic trait. As well as friendly and now light sleeper.

;D The family is getting bigger, & all take after dad, they all are really cute!
~PS~ You have to turn aging & story progression off, for everything to stay static, in other words, so the hood does not change!
I got sick & tired of not being able to find my Sims as the game keeps moving everyone around So I turn them off, only thing is you can only use the cake once on each Sim with aging off, you have to turn aging on again to use the cake,more than once! it works, I turn aging on for one day,have the birthday,then turn aging off again,so far it has worked for me! It stopped all the house hopping!And people outside of the house I am playing,stay as I left them(with aging on they stay the same as you left them,but age & all the rest!) poor Toby Masterson reached the top of his career, and my Alien too, but as soon as I changed houses they went back to being apprentices?( All the money their had earned, disappeared too!)
