Yes..By adding he new DVDRW that will free up one SATA connection on your motherboard...Because the new DVDRW is a IDA connection to the motherboard, not a SATA connection...
Now sure about what that other thing is...Perhaps hes talking about E-SATA...Whole nother deal and your computer has no E-SATA connections ...Clueless about that hardware hes refering to actually..LOL

I guess there is a dock where you can put your harddrive and it connects to the computer throught USB.

Here is all I know about you doing that...Other Than The Drive will be slower that way as transfer rates for USB 2.0 are much slower than SATA... Plus my way is cheaper...LOL www.sataadapter.com/ |

So guess what!! After MONTHS of trying to figure all this out, I find out our Music folder is in TWO places. Yes the 110GB of music is on our Hard Drive (takes about half of it) AND the portable HD.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I am re-backing up my Music to the Portable, deleting it from the Hard Drive, which frees up 110 GB! Plenty of room for TS2 and all the CC!!!!I am told Itunes should still be able to read in on the portable.
That means I can play again! That means updates people!

I have installed up to Celebration stuff. no Suckyrom for me. i am going to wait until I get my Nightlife back to install anymore.
