Are you going to get it? People have been asking for a build pack for quite a while. I don't know why it took EA SO long to put one out!

I think it looks pretty cool. Even though I already have lots of custom-content plants, etc in my game, I will get it because I have all the other ones so, why not?

How about you? What do you think of the pack?

I don't know, every time I put something more on I think 'will it split at the seams now'? I'm not sure if it is over here yet or not. I'll have to have a good look at what it contains. I know I was disappointed in kitchen and bathroom stuff.

Oh I know! All those strange colored appliances, etc! It's not out here yet either. I can't remember the release date right now and I'm too lazy to go look.

Heck, I have this bran-new computer with all this empty space so... I have nothing to lose by installing it ... unless, of course it's packed full of bugs or something!

I lost a bunch of cc plants & trees when I crashed, so I'm leaning towards it. It doesn't look like you'll get a lot of building things, but it looks like there's plenty of plant life. Plus, if you get them the week they come out, the stores usually discount them about $5, so $15 doesn't sound too hideous. It's cheaper than the Sims store! *cringes in corner with open can of worms*

I also cringe at the idea of using the sims store... phooey! I'm not buying a darned thing as a download when I can get it on a disc!

It does look like it has a new roof style or two though.

It took me awhile to get the hang of how to make interesting, yet functional roofs. I probably overuse the victorian spires & oriental roofs, because they're my favs & are a little different than the norm. It would be nice to see something different, but I can't imagine what's new that they can put in.

Well looking at the mansion in the screenshots, it seems theres a tall, different shaped roof on it. Sort of like the kind on the house in the movie Psycho.

I had a heck of a time figuring out roofs too! For the longes time, I just clicked on auto roof and let that be it. But when I finally decided to actually take some time with it, I started to learn how they work and it's not too bad once you've done some experimenting.

Anywho, I don't have any of the stuff packs... I think they're a bit of a rip off...
I mean, they look cool and all but they don't really ADD much. I can download objects online instead lol
I'm going off EA. They're getting worse, they way they've become so cheap. They started advertising for TS3 before AL was even out. It's like openly saying, you'll be wasting your money on this EP because you'll start throwing more money at us in about a year or so! Eugh! I think I'm just in a bad mood lol... I understand what you're saying, Inkhearts. EA has become so into wanting that almighy dollar that they have become slack when it comes to giving out 'little extras'. That Sims Store business really gets to me! What's up with selling individual items that are ALREADY in the stuff packs?

Oh i know it's good for people that only want an item or two, but sheesh... in my opinion, they want way to much for the junk, especially when I've heard that in order to use the store you have to take a good dose of sucUrom! No thanks....

Ooooh, I didn't hear about the Suck-U-Rom thing! I didn't sign up cuz I have almost all the SPs anyway, and the one or two hairstyles they offered that were exclusive to the store kind of sucked. Now I'm really glad I didn't! I download everything to my flash drive stick, which is almost like having it on disc. That way I can put it in different games on different pooters & always have it around in case of crashies.
Oh, Inky & Mae, since this isn't an EA site, I can tell you WHY I have all the sp's - I take them out from the library for FREE. They also have most of the EP's. Take THAT, EA!!! Mwaha ha haaaa!
