The whole thing went downhill after EA bought out (I think that's what happened) Maxis. The last EP to have Maxis on the case was Pets, from there on poor service, money grabbing and sucyrom has been the order of the day.

Yep. That just about it in a nutshell Jo.  The worst part is it's all the HONEST customers who spend money on the game that are getting screwed. There lousy sucUrom isn't stopping the pirates at all! |

I used to spend most of my freetime reading over there. It's a great place to learn all kinds of informative and important things about this game.  It's pretty easy to navigate once you get used to it. |

You can certainly learn a LOT over there. Just take my advice and stay out of the more technical threads. I have come outta those with my eyes watering and crossed, not knowing if my brain was getting ready to explode or not!  There's a whole HUGE thread stickied on nothing but SecUrom though. That's how I learned how to rid myself of it and then avoid it in the future. Thank goodness for the wise folks at Maty! |

It just means that a thread is stuck at the top and will remain on top even when new threads are posted. There's a few here. If you look at the top left of the threads, you'll see what looks like a little push pin next to the thread. That means it's been 'tacked' at the top.

I just saw it at the store & will definitely be getting it. Target didn't look like they were giving a bonus download with the pack, which is weird. Did you notice if Walmart was? They usually all have one.
