UGH!!!! I hate  pregnant sims!!! Theres this sim from my new legacy. Every time she's pregnant her wants drop L O  W And Its so hard to get them back up. She nearly died...like a lot. Especially since I refrained from using cheat codes.  Don't you hate pregnant sims? |

Pregnant sims CAN be difficult. It's funny though because pregnancy is harder on some sims than others, just like it is for folks in RL. Is she able to meditate? If she meditates, her needs will remain static while she's doing it. When I was doing the email challenge and my female got pregnant, she meditated herself almost through the entire pregnancy!  |

Make sure you buy the most comfortable bed you can afford (hard at the start of a legacy) make a group meal and stash it in the fridge or inventory. Once you can make snap dragons pregnancy is a snap, I just sit them skilling by a snap dragon and all the needs except energy just stay up. I think Joanne Mobacy has hardly needed to eat this time around. I just get her to study cooking and forget about her |

Oh yea, I forgot about snapdragons! But I don't think Pixx has OFB, so that won't help her much. I'm telling ya though, nothing beats meditation for keeping those annoying difficult pregnancies in check.  Then you can go about your business with other households member and not worry about what they're up to. |

I always forget about the meditate option. I never use it! I keep meaning to try, but when I'm in the game, I never think of it. I have an Oriental sim in my game that's preggers, (Kai's mom) and since they're not in the story, I don't play the house very often. I pop in there to "borrow" her teen, who IS in the story, and her pregnancy has advanced so fast! She's HUGE, and she keeps showing up on the community lots I'm playing. She's everywhere, waddling around town with her giant belly! Her pregnancy is definitely easier than some of the others I've had in the game. Most of them just want to lay on the couch all day. I can't keep this one home!
Snap dragons? Like in the flower crafting bench? Is there some trick that involves them? I've never heard about snap dragons in the game.

The snapdragons give off an 'aura' that brings up most of a sims needs. They have a magical quality about them. And yes, you get them by making them at the flower-crafting station. |

I always have pregnant sims and I have no probs with them. All my families have at least 5 kids so ... No probs for me and no cheats used for ththe pregnancies.

Geez I forgot I posted this thing. Thanks for the ideas on how to deal with that pregnant sim. Killing her always seemed like the best avenue but Comet Cometh just wouldn't be the same without the Poo Poo Tree involved...
I'm thinking about getting OFB but I'm torn between pets, apartment life and uni....a little help please...

I don't know about AL, but between the other two, OFB is the best one. It adds more new gameplay than Pets. Almost all pet does is put annoying little animals underfoot! |

I love OFB, but then I really enjoy running different kinds of buisnesses. ;D
You need a gold badge in flower arranging for your sim to be able to makesnap dragons. It does take a long time. The best person to do this is an platinum elder with maxrd creativity or a servo. Once your elder is in the zone (from FreeTime) and has a snap dragon beside them they can stand and makes heaps of snap dragons for you, then you can set up a shop and sell them to other playable sims. Every time the snap dragon puffs out it's scent you can see there needs raising. Watch out for defective or evil snap dragons which emit a green scent as they have the oppisit effect.

I got Pets just to get werewolves! Of course, I got OFB for the servos, Uni for the zombies, and AL for the witches. If you're thinking of uni, Jo's Mobacy has a chapter that shows all the things you can do there. I never got a simmie all the way thru - I must have like 20 of them stuck there that I never remember to go back to! I've opened some businesses, but don't really run them. I guess I'm not much help, huh?

LOL! Jilly, sounds like you need TwoJeff's college adjuster! You can get sims through Uni MUCH quicker with that... Wow Jilly you are a fantasy simmer, eh? I've never made a werewolf, I only had ONE zombie and then exited without saving because I couldn't stand him, and I've NEVER made a werewolve or a robot in my game. The only supernatural creature I've played is Vamps and I wouldn't have played them if I'd had to put up with that horrible blue-toned maxis skin for them... ack! |
