Has anyone looked into this? Quote: Collectibles - Mysterious Mr. Gnomes When you manage to locate a Mysterious Mr. Gnome, if you put him in your house as any other item, indeed like you would an ordinary gnome, he will come to life in the early hours of the morning (around the same times as ghosts) and have some fun. He will also cause mischief and meddle with your objects! You can find him as a gem, metal, while fishing, in Pleasant Rest Graveyard's Catacombs or as part of the Thief career. Try interacting with him to see his unusual character. You could also sell him from 1,000 Simoleons, but who would be that heartless? Tell him apart from regular gnomes by the flower on his hat. I was just reading some about this at Maty a few days back. I haven't found one as of yet, but I did read that if you change his name, he turns into a regular gnome. Hopefully that's a bug that will be fixed because why even have an option to rename him if it will break him?  |

Well that's stupid.  Typical EA though. Now I'm interested to find one. Apparently it comes alive the same time as the ghosts and can move and do things to your other objects. Probably an annoying thing that I will want rid of after one night.  |

Hehe... well, if he annoys you, rename him!  Hmm, I wonder if that's why it turns into a regular gnome if you rename him. That way, you keep the gnome without the annoyance. |

I haven't got into the collecting aspect of the game yet.
I started a new game. I am going to play the Goth and Bachelor house.
Can I copy a version of Don Lothario in the bin and move him into that neighborhood?

I don't see why not, but if you're starting it in Riverview, he'll already be there. Hey, have you seen where Lothario lives? It appears he lives in an old barn that has been made into an apartment! |

You certainly can - you can save anyone to the sim bin, and put them in any hood! I LOVE that feature! My adopted Goth, Jasper, fished up Mr. Gnome from the pond at the science lab in Sunset Valley, but I haven't played since. Now I can't wait to put him in the yard!
