Mysterious Mr. Gnomes

Now Pixx, we still love our sims 2. After all, there's no werewolves, vamps, witches, robots, etc in Sims 3!
OK, I had an uneventful 2 sim days with Mysterious Mr. Gnome...

Here's Mysterious Mr.Gnome in Lolita's garden, waiting for the witching hour...


Witching hour came and went with no fun. Lolita just stands and stares at him. I'm bored, so I have her give him a kick.



But she feels bad & stands him back up. But wait! Is this a handstand from our MMG? Why, it is! But he didn't do it himself - this is how he was when she stood him back up.



After much waiting, she's told to kick him again. When she stands him back up this time, he's in a different pose. I really thought he'd have some fun in the garden - at least with the sprinklers...


(the ghosts LOVE the sprinklers. Especially Gretle Goth)



So I moved him in the house, but still no shennanigans. While I was gnome-watching, Jasper Goth was outside fishing in the Goth family's pond, and...




caught ANOTHER Mysterious Mr. Gnome. I thought maybe the two of them might have some fun together, but I was wrong. Neither one moved a muscle.



Just for fun, I added a regular, buy-mode gnome to the mix. However, I got tired & have to work tomorrow, so that's all the gnome-watching I'll be doing for tonight.

Sorry that wasn't more fun! Maybe tomorrow!

I've read somewhere that once he's been placed somewhere other than inventory, you cannot place him in a different location then the first otherwise he likely won't work properly anymore.

Wow, sometimes I surprise myself; why I'd remember reading that is beyond me!

Well THAT sucks! At least I only moved the first one. The second one is still where I put him first. I sure hope they do something cool! (The handstand was cool though.)

Well, I played 2 more days (See my Goth Mystery thread) and still no more gnome activity. I made Lolita kick the original gnome again, and got a new pose. What's the name of that Russian dance where they wear the big, furry hat and boots, lean way back and do kicks? Check out Gnome #1 in the center...

One of my Sims fished one out of the sea, I ,off course knew, nothing about the gnome,so was shocked to see him watching TV(I kept turning the TV off he turned it back on!) when my Sim got home from work,next day he was waiting at the letterbox for my Sim to get home,my Sim woke early to tend to his garden before work, & gnome was at the garden bending over to check it out,next he was up on the balcony on the table he was now standing up straight & had one eyebrow cocked, I took pics because it puzzled me! I know one thing he only moves when no-one is looking!I was wanting to ask some-one so bad,but NO NET!So know I know!
