Don't feel bad, Karima. I did the same thing with my families, and wondered why they couldn't meet.

Y'all are so very welcome! Glad I can be of some help.
Karima, the Sims store stuff is all in Sims3pack form and it goes where everything you install with the launcher goes... the documents sims 3 folder. All you do to install those is double click on the file and the launcher will install it.

That is so weird how you had two Mods folders! Did you download that installer monkey thing, by any chance? It creates a mods/packages folde for you, so if you did download and i nstall that, maybe that's how you got the extra one. The strangest thing is how your sims store stuff got in there. Ah well... I'm glad you got it all sorted. Like I said, I'm happy I was able to help!

That is the answer as I did download it to see if I could use it, but I still could not get it to work as my double click is too slow!Darn arthritis! any way I have gotten use to the new path to put the CC in, so I have no need for it!Thank you Tina for showing me the way!I am just as confused about the store stuff ending up in there too! ???But thank GOD it is all sorted now! Thanks again!LUG
