Hey Jilly I'm reading your story now. Why do I get the feeling that Bruno is obsessive like Louis...cooool!
Was getting hit by the stick a part of his plan? If it was that was totally genius. Call me freaky but I'm beginning to like Bruno...Awesome! Getting hit with the stick was a part of his plan! OK now this story has my undivided attention and I think I'm gonna go off on a rampage if there's a cliff hanger.
OK it's decided, I totally love Bruno and his cunning self. Wow Niall is hot...can I keep him? The blond wolf dude is cute too.
OK I don't like Bruno any more. Ah! My eyes! Green man and pink lingerie! Aaaahhh!
So...when's the next chapter gonna be out?

Tina, I don't know what hapened to the cover - I can see it from Photobucket when I look through the storytelling folder from there, but from the actual story editor, I can't see it! Is it because the old, original picture was still in there? I'll fix it as soon as I can, but I have to go run errands that I was putting off to get this finished. I'll check back in later.

Jilly, you are supposed to put it into your storytelling folder and when it asks if you want to rewrite the old one, you click yes. You didn't need to upload it to photobucket at all. Photobucket has NOTHING to do with storycovers in your storytelling folder or on the exchange. What do you mean when you look through the storytelling folder from photobucket?  As far as I know, that's impossible unless you're using some sort of magic.  The process is very simple: Save the picture AND the thumbnail I uploaded for you to your computer and DO NOT RENAME THEM! You MUST have the thumbnail too, or you won't see it in your story editor! Put them BOTH into your storytelling folder. Go into the lot where you are making your story and simply put it into the organizer just like any other picture.  Duh! NOW I get what you mean by looking through photobucket at the storytelling folder...lol. You just mean you can see the pic in the storytelling folder, but not in the story editor. Well, I've posted what to check into the graphics thread. |

Yes, Ladies, Bruno is one messed up puppy! He DID walk in the way of the game of fetch so the would get hit with the stick. That way, he was sure he would get Heather/Angie to talk to him. If he just tried to introduce himself, she might've blown him off. This way, she would feel bad about hitting him, and he not only gets to meet her, but has her instant desire to "make it up to him". Evil genius, that one. Yeah, that green skin with the pink undies pic was out there - I just had to use it! Lol!

LOL... yep, Bruno is a sick puppy! I haven't made it over to the exchange to see your chapters yet, Jill. Maybe I'll picket it until you get that cover I worked so hard on put up. *raises eyebrow* Just teasing...lol I will get over there later tonight and give it a read, although I've already read it...lol. ;D I'll be glad to see it with the pictures and give the high rating it deserves. Right now I need to get off my butt, shower, and head to my mom's for a couple of hours. |

Well, still no luck on the cover. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The other cover isn't showing up in the editor, either. I was going to do a little recap on the cover page, so I left that out, thinking I'd add it when I got the cover up. I'm just too stressed out to try & think about it any more tonight. I'm bummed out that my back up cover is missing, too.

What other cover? Have you seen the new one I posted in the graphics thread yet? I renamed it so maybe it will work now. Hey, I'm reading chapter two now and... I'm loving it! ;D |

I'm glad someone's reading it! Lol! That pic of the castle that I posted in the Links thread. The same one you used for the siggy & cover. I was torn between using that or Niall's werewolf face before you made the cool cover. I'll go have another try at the cover. Thanks again!

Success! The new cover is in - I don't know if you lost the rating because of the change?
I'm glad you liked the story! I didn't tell anyone about the bonus chapter - I thought it would be a fun little way to get to know the main characters a little more personally - make you care about them just a little more.

Nope, you didn't lose any ratings. Doing that is just like editing for mistakes. If you re-upload, it doesn't change anything unless you're unlucky enough for it to delete your story.  I'm still afraid to go back in and edit my, at least one, mistake I know that's in there...lol Well, the 'side story' was a good idea and really cool. |

I know - I found a ton of errors in ch 1 that I was afraid to go back in and fix. Then I kind of forgot about them while I was working on the new stuff. I really need to get back in there, but I'm too whooped now!
That side story just popped into my head when Jo was talking about thoses swords in her Hotel upload. It seemed right for them.

Ch 2.
I like the start with the sandcastle, that was sweet of him.
Wow hard to comment on the story, but that was full on and very detailed.
Pictures: Hope you don't mind one tiny criticism, but the graphics need improving. I can tell you have detail set high because they have separate fingers. But the other setting can't be on high as its somewhat fuzzy. If your computer can handle it set all the graphics and photo size to high/large and turn shadows off if it needs more juice and see how it goes then. Shadows are a hog on memory.
2.5 Very nice, I found that one easier to understand probably because the plot isn't so detailed. I really like both Angelica's and Niall's characters. Funny ending too. ;D
