LMAO! Young Donovan is mighty drooltastic at that! I am rather fond of the towel-around-the-neck pictures myself. I am happy to know you enjoyed him so much Val, but if I get to him first, MOVE OVER!

Hey I'm so glad you finished your story! I missed Stephen and Louis a lot!!!! It was so nice to see them again I still hate Gabriella but I kind of felt bad for her. She deserved punishment but that was excessive I think. Even though I hoped Louis would win I love the way you ended it Yes I know I'm probably the only one around who likes stories where the vilain wins The poor thing was mean but at last he has what he always wanted. Unfortunately it's only a dream but hey at least everything's good for everyone I guess you need some rest and you want to play with your simmies for a change but I can't wait for your next story

Thanks so much, Mae! I appreciate your nice comments very much. ;D I did rack my brain to come up with an ending that would be, at least, satisfactory to most folks...lol. I racked my brain through most of this story actually. I could likely come up with three alternative endings for this one! Hopefully, one day I'll write another.

This ending made me cry; I'm still in tears... being insane and happy... it's pitiful, because it isn't real... which, of course, makes one question reality itself, and the way we all singularly interpret our lives. And to leave his mother... oh damn damn damn.
::wipes tears:: Still, I can't wait for the sequel that I will force you to write, somehow. ::evil grin::

Wow, you're the second person who said I made her cry. I sowwy, I swear! Hell, let's face it, I almost made myself cry! Even though you cried, I'm so happy you enjoyed it, Jess! I find myself crying over movies, TV shows and whatnot that aren't real all the time...lol. I guess actually making someone cry during the course of a tale is one of the greatest compliments. I suppose it means the story has depth and heart. So again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

...I just hope Tina noticed that I'm commanding, after a little break, a sequel. I mean come on, Louis is still alive... and HE was so powerful, but he put a few people under the power of... persuasion/ forgetfulness... and others found their way through it. Maybe Thomas can't resist going back to Shannon? Or one of the babies will have a Louis streak in there? Or you *could* pull a VC Andrews and have Louis impregnate someone? lol.

Well, Mae, it seems you certainly are NOT the only cheerleader in Louis's corner! Maybe I will add an alternate ending to the story thread one day. Who knows? Jess, as much as you enjoyed this story, it looks like you would've paid closer attention. Once a Duvall 'goes through the change', he is rendered infertile, and therefore, cannot impregnate anyone. Who knows? If I can think of a way to make a sequel without lessoning the quality in comparison to the earlier chapters, I may do that one day too. But, for now, I think I'd rather work on forming a whole new idea. The inklings of one has been simmering in my head for months, but before I begin, I need to make sure I know where it's going. I MUST know the beginning and, tentatively, the end (the middle tends to take care of itself), or the story just may suck...lol

Hey Tina ,I just got done readng the final chapters of your story and I must say a few things here. First, The story pulled you in from the Shadows Linger In Darkness through Shadows Of Doubt to Villa Le Duvalle. I couldn't stop reading it once I got started! The story Villa Le Duvalle held me in thrall . It was like picking up a trio of books at a bookstore and not being able to put it down until the last line of the story. This should be published. It's better than anything I've ever seen out on the market and it would sell like hotcakes! (I was surprised that it was Donavan behind the hood, I thought it might be Louis, trying to take Shannon back with him.) Second, your story had heart. I have read other Vampire stories on the exchange and they just made me sick to my stomach or end up having nightmares for a week, because they were so disgusting! I always avoided them, because they were all the same. Third ,the story had a great plot,Hot Guys and A Great Bad guy to follow! Every good story has at least one that I know of. In all, I would of course rate every chapter of all three stories,5 stars , because I think that they are that good. ;D Actually, better! I will miss these characters because they kind of grow on you and I will not be able to go to my bookshelf and pick up this story and read it. This is a story that I would read over and over. I wish it was in print, because this is exactly the kind of story that my son likes to read and I wish he could. This story to me, goes beyond the sims. It could, also be made into a movie and it would hold you spellbound right to the end. You wouldn't want to miss a single part. It made me sad at the end when Donavan had to make his own mother forget he ever existed. I wanted to cry over that! I know this is rather long, but it's the way I feel and what I think about your story, and if I don't get it out I would regret it forever. To me it was a beautiful story and I will miss it and the characters. I was noticing the dates as I read. It took you at least a year or more to write this, but that's good, because I can tell you put your whole heart and soul into this, which is another reason why I think it is so good. You are a very excellent author and I think your works should be published as I said before. WEll. I done now I finally got it all out. Catmania80

Oh my gosh, Cat, I can't even BEGIN to tell you how much your aweosme review means to me, nor how big it made me smile. ;D It even managed to cause a bit of moisture to pool in my eyes. *sniff* Thank you SO MUCH and don't worry about it being it long. Long is a good thing in this situation! Wow... your kind words have left me almost speechless. Leaving me speechless isn't an eas thing to do! Oh yeah, it took me a while to write it, for sure. Part of that is because of the seven-month hiatus I inadvertantly took between chapters 10 and eleven. lol But, I think I really needed that in order to clear my head and get my thoughts in order so that I could, effectively, come up with the final product. I'm just glad it all turned out ok and that most everyone enjoyed the read. Thanks so much again! *HUG*

I never noticed the infertility thing... dammit. I can't wait for the next story! ITA with you- it's much better to leave a story as it is, rather than taking away from it.

LOL@Jess! Pretty much from the beginning of the introduction to the Duvalls, I thought it was clear how they couldn't have children of their own. It was one of the reasons Louis became so obessed with the pregnant Shannon, telling her it was his baby. Aww, thanks Val! I have had thoughts about trying to get the story published, but it would take a LOT of work to get it ready. It would have to be revised into a 'pictureless' version and, therefore, would need a lot of rewriting to add descriptioins of everything and everyone. Someday, if I am ever struck with the inspiration, I may just have to sit down and give it whirl.
