Moving Day!
The homeless simselves are homeless no more! They have just been dropped off in front their new home,
The Super Duper Shack. It almost seems as if everyone was in shock and just stood outside, milling around
for a bit. I was the first one to move my feet and make my way inside, with Mae and Sue right behind.
I stopped, suddenly, in front of the doorway to the kitchen, imagining myself cooking all sorts of delicious
meals in there. Mae thought about all the parties we could have where she could play her guitar for everyone.
Sue thought the place could use some plants, but what she really wants is a chess table!
Soon, the others started to all pile in at once. It was a regular traffic jam because no one was moving forward!
Lynda: "Please, people, will you MOVE aside and let us in?" Lynda was tired and feeling more agitated every minute.
At first, the whole crowd got stuck in place and couldn't move! I thought they'd never get out of each other's way...lol.
When they finally got moving, I allowed them to do whatever they wanted to do without any instruction from me.
They were all tired from the move and from not ever getting quite enough rest, so some began to seek out beds.
Lynda was the first to make it upstairs to pick out hers.
Jillyson was the next one to find a place to rest her head.
Then it was Sawyer's turn. I was surprised to see them each pick out different bedrooms.
Others were more interested in getting cleaned up before moving onto to other things. Sue was the first to claim one of the showers.
Mae also allowed herself the luxury of a hot shower almost immediately after arriving at the house.
Holley decided to sit down and read a book from the shelf, which Jillyson was thrilled to see held copies of all the novels she had written!
I suppose I was not as tired as the others because of spending so much time at Don's house before moving day,
so I was next to pick a room and only lay down for a nap. Mae soon joined me in the room to sleep in the other bed.
When Jo decided to pick out a bed, she wanted the one Jillyson was in! You would think she would
turn around and pick the empty one, but I guess that would have been too easy. Instead . . .
She left the room and picked the bed next to Sawyer.
Holley decides to bunk in the room with Lynda.
Last, but not least, Sue ends up in the bed beside Jillyson.
When I was rested enough, I got up and headed downstairs to prepare our first meal in our new home.
Oh NOW I gain the skill to grill fish!
Here we all are, sitting down to our first meal at a table that is our very own. Too bad
there aren't enough chairs for everyone. While Jo heads for the living room...
Jill gets so upset that no one left a place for her that she rams her plate right through the wall!
After carefully dislodging her plate and arm, she takes a place beside Jo on the sofa.
I left the walls down on this shot to show all of us together as one big happy family! This has
caused me to rethink the dining room size. I think I will widen it to make room for a table with eight chairs.
Well, this marks the conclusion of The Homeless Simself Challenge of DD. I will leave you now, with this beautiful
shot of the sun rising over the Sim Henge. I still haven't gotten over the beauty of the graphical effects in this game!
The challenge is over, but the new lives of the simselves have just begun! Stay tuned for updates on what's going on
in their lives coming soon to a thread near you!
