Replying to post 1: we have the same problem. It gets to -50C here sometimes in the winter, and there is a cat we named Ivy who was left behind when it's owners moved now it's survived on it's own for 3 years already so we thought we'd be nice and give it some food, well now we have some catfights over the food, they sprayed our house to mark the territory and there is a gang of 5 cats that eat that food now and attack any other cat not part of their kitty gang. OY! Meanwhile my cat always flips out when she sees the other cats, she's an indoor kitty who is sheltered and gets pissy and growls and hisses when she sees those other cats. >.<

Wow, Nicole, that sounds like a real pain! This one is trying to kill me, I think. Everytime I go outside, it gets under my feet and almost trips me.  Then I it trying to come inside, while my other two cats are inside trying to get out! Last night, I took to carrying a spray bottle with me to keep all of them at bay so I could just move around...lol |

What do you think I've done? lol It's here and it ain't going anywhere, but it cannot come inside the house because it doesn't get along with the cats already here and it's too much stress for me right now to try to acclimate the dumb animals to one another. I'd love nothing better than to bring it in and have it live happily ever after in 'the kitty gang'...lol..., but that's not happening right now. |
