LOL... actually neither one of my cats likes the new cat. They'll see it outside the sliding glass doors and get all worked up over it. I narrowly averted a near-disaster yesterday by keeping Chance away from Karma when she was growling at Jinx (that's what we've decided to call the stray...lol) through the window. I get the feeling that if Chance had come up behind Karma while she was that excited, she would have turned and attacked her.  Stupid animals! lol |

Cat philology... I know cats are territorial and somehow they work that out when they live together, but they're acting like this stray is the 'new cat' and they are sorting out a new pecking order. Our chickens do that if we bring a new one in. Normally it's the new one that gets picked on, but they tend to get more pecky with each other as well. I'm just surprised they didn't just run it off. I know that's what out cat Missy has done. She actually ran the neighbour’s cat off! I felt so bad it couldn't even go into its own garden as Missy had claimed it for her own. She's been rather bossy to other cats (And run off a sheep dog  ) ever since she had a litter of kittens way back when we first got her. Towards people she is the sookiest, soppiest cat you ever saw though. |

LOL... I wish, Pixx! Well, Jo, my cats can't run off the stray because the stray is outside and my cats never go outside. They are strictly indoor cats. My neighborhood is not a safe place to have outdoor cats if you want them to remain alive and well. |

You could send it to us, Tina! I only have two territorial cats that try to kill each other every day! D: The stray kitty sounds like it needs a home, or at least a better one... Our neighbors have an orange and white cat that likes to roam across our property...while OUR cat stalks it. D: They get into it every now and then. Right now, I believe they feel that the creek that separates our yard into two is like...their border.  Hope you get this all sorted out! |

LOL! Actually Crissy picked the name. I still don't know if it's male or female and we had to call it something besides kitty...lol. That cat certainly isn't going anywhere!  |
