School

It's coming up soon, today was the first day of orientation. I'm not going to the next two days (cause I don't really want to ). I'm going into 9th grade (quite a shocker, huh?) so I'm a little fishy in a school of 2500. My ID picture sucks, I haven't seen it but I already know. My locker irks me, cause you have to do this wierd spinny thing to make it open, my locker is in the main building 2nd floor and I only have one class around there.
My schedule is:
1st Swimming JV
2nd World Geography Pre-IB
3rd Biology Pre-IB
4th Latin 1
Lunch Period C
5th Intro to Theater Pre-IB
6th Geometry Pre-IB
7th English Pre-IB

I'm rambling now, aren't I? Well, I get anxious about school (I almost put excited, but thats the wrong word). Any school stories you want to share? Experiences? Do you still remember that creepy Health teacher?

Wow, summer's almost already. *sigh* I do remember how scary it was when going to a new school, especially when you're in the youngest age group there.

Latin and theater classes? That's some school, Kiddo! Congrats on becoming a frosh! You'll make fast friends and have a great time in high school.

My schedule goes a little like this.
1st Language Arts (English)
2nd Science
3rd Algebra (woo! High school credit!)
4th PE/Health/PE/Writing
5th Gifted Class (Social Studies)
6th Band
7th Choir (WHAT?! I DONT SING, CHOIR WAS MY LAST CHOICE YOU IDIOTS)/Librarian's Assistant.
I'm totally jealous of your's though.

Ahh, Gifted classes are fun!

I know. That is the gifted class, there's only one. And there's only 10(?) people in it. We're supposedly the top students, but I would say otherwise. lol

In 7th grade, we never did any work. We mostly talked, then every six weeks we would get ONE worksheet.

I had a 0 period my Junior and Senior year of HS. It was a AP band class that taught Theory as well as being a band class.

I am jealous of your parents. School here doesn't start until the 10th of September!

He had to stay in school until June though.

We go back the 18th. My mom is already back, today.
