Status update

Well I've tried to post the next Prep School update four times now and it goes to a service error everytime. I'll try again later I guess. Luckily I saved the HTML in Word first.

I do that most times now, I've had too many 80 slide picspams to lose anything! LJ's still pretty temperamental for them to say it's fixed, but I'm glad to have it back.

I've got a day of preparing for the holiday and finishing my chapter. I love weekends.

LJ refuses to save my drafts lately, so I've been pasting them over to Word. It's very depressing to lose all of the post I know, I've had it happen!

prep school part two is up, but it won't let me edit a couple of typos, oh well I think you can guess that 'saged' is meant to be 'caged'

Yeah I did, I left a comment on the post; I love all your posts like these, they always make me want to go and play the game.

Talking of, I've got to go in-game and pick one hair for Elle (not all 10 I downloaded). I managed to make her in bodyshop (Chloe's face with Piaget's nose) and she's going to grow up pretty. ;D Now just to write the last ten slides and I should be done by the time we get the train this evening. Hopefully.

Mine is tired. Customer rang at 11pm for an emergency job, so I stayed up. Then the cats, or one of them has figured if it bashes on the cat flap I will eventually get up and let it out of a morning! At 6am!

Ugh! My cats are all indoor cats, so for me, it's the dog. She doesn't quite understand that mommy doesn't need to be up at 6 am on a Saturday! Lol!

I finally got my EADM fixed, so now my S3 game is properly patched. It's acting funny in CAS - the screens are translucent, but I can still see well enough to use it, and everything seems to work fine.

Maybe today I can get more pics done?

I'm nearly ready for my holiday, I've finished work for the week and we go in the early hours of Wednesday. Typically, our internet has started playing up today, so I can't get all the catching up I was going to do done today. Maybe just a post on LJ to let people know I'm going.

Well the cat bashing on the flap at 3am certainly didn't help. Story of my life.

My internet went down yesterday too, just as I was trying to get to yours and some older updates on LJ. But I did get to read it later.

Ditto, I managed to catch up on almost everything (hopefully should be able to read your school part 4 later Jo) before I go. Our wireless router is still not working, so I'm on boyfriend's laptop, plugged into the cable internet at the moment.

This might be my last post, depends how easy it is to pack. We're off to get food supplies, Euros, possibly more clothes... Might talk to you all later, but if not, see you when I get back. ;D

Status is anoyed that half walls would stop the kids using the school computer room! It looked so good, but I've had to take them down.

Ugh, in RL news, the riots here are getting silly. 200 tyres set alight on the road next to work, and 4 police stations set on fire in the city too. I had to be driven home from work yesterday just in case, all my freedom's gone.

But on a positive note, I've finally had time to look at my holiday photos, so that's made me happy; and our wireless internet will be back soon so I can sim and be around more.

Thank you for replying on my poem thread. Every year I've thought about posting on this day but always thought it might make others uncomfortable. If Jess hadn't said post I might not have done, as I notice a lot of sad posts around.

I've seen talk of the riots about the place, it sound horrible. I tend not to watch much news as I find it depressing. What started it off? Are they catching those responsible? Bit rough when you need to be driven home from work.

Yah for holidays, photos and internet.

Also yah for sim babies, i can't wait to show a certain pair off! >squee< and number six will arrive in a few sim hours. ;D

Well, I got my maxis makeover house done and posted, but once again I got a piece of bad cc that's completely borked my pc. I think, maybe it's just too old (5 years?) and I don't know if I'll be able to save it again. None of the virus scans and registry clean ups seem to be working, so I've been spending every free minute in front of it trying eveything I can think of.

With me losing my job in a few months, the last thing I want to do is spend money on a new PC, but it's looking like I won't have much of an option.

Yipes Jilly, that's not good. That's the last thing you need now. I hope you can save your pc, my laptop's the same age and I'm always worried it'll suddenly crash on me.

Jo, what happened was that someone was shot by the police last week, and it started with people who knew him in London rioting against the police. But now copycat riots are happening everywhere, and we were one of the first cities to have them. Hopefully it's all blowing over now, fingers crossed.

Yay for Fair Dinkum babies! ;D I'm wondering whether to copy Jess and make a cute picspam post of some of the younger Psychs to cheer people up on LJ...
