I am still going through all my clothes, deleting what I'll never use and don't like. Seriously! What was I thinking when I downloaded some of this stuff? Hopefully when I get rid of all the crap the crashes will have gone away too.

Woo, we're almost halfway through the working week, and I'm now only 2 scenes away from finishing chapter 22. Really, really hoping to upload before I go to my parents' house for the weekend, fingers crossed! ;D

It can hard to tell what is good stuff or to your taste sometimes until you see it on a sim. I downloaded some stuff and realize they have this light lines. Stand out textures aren't my thing, so out they go. Teen boys, why do they have to be so hard to clothe!

I have learned the evil of "Photoskinning" and realized a lot of my stuff is that way. Basically if you have a photograph of an outfit, front and back, you can kind of "paint" it onto a Sim body and make clothes. While they may look good from the front, on the sides it's flat, like it was painted on. It's low quality stuff. I will keep some of it, because it's a decent job, but a lot of it is sh*t! There's so much stuff that is way better and there's no excuse for me to keep any of it. Unfortunately it is going to take awhile to get rid of it. i almost want to start my clothes folder form scratch.

I have decided to amuse myself with a Asylum challenge, to get back into the game. Plus, I won't have to leave the lot, so there's a less likely chance of crashing.
I want to use Premades as the patients. I know some of you don't know much about premades, but any ideas about who to use?

I've never been too sure just what is Photoskinned unless it's really obvious. I think it has a slightly strange look to it. That or stuff with no texture, weird stand out 3D texture or coloured blobs and holes in places they shouldn't be has been gradually leaving for the bin. I find most of my best stuff on MTS and people's LJ's these days. The other things that annoy me are horrible or inappropriate shoes, and CC that deforms them. Like in my latest toddler challenge on my LJ, the guys arms are bigger and his waist made smaller by the clothing. Decent male clothes are so hard to come by as it is, that it annoys me no end to find what appears to be an okay outfit actually deforming the sim.

Well Don of course. ;D Loki Beaker... I don't know too many others.

I can't get over how similar your problem was to mine. Mostly fine on the home lot but bad at a community one or an owned business.

You could do it in Strangetown with the Singles, maybe add Johnny Smith?

Or LIke Jo said, the crew from Tesla Court, Loki, Beaker, Circe, maybe Olive Nigamos?

I don't know which hood I will use. Most likely a new one with extracted maxis characters. I found a site that has them all for download. I would post the link by LJ is being difficult.
I had thought Johnny already, and maybe one of the Curious brothers too.

My status is grumpy with LJ. Or the hackers. I'm sick of it not working anyway. There are at least four stories on there that I can't read and I've been trying to post my prep school picspam for two days.

I know! I have been waiting anxiously for a story update and it's freaking me out when I can't get on. Looks like they've fixed the problem though.

Partly fixed. I can't click 'home' or 'manage friends' Well I can click, but it only gets me an error page.

It won't let me leave comments or post to my own journal, which is really annoying. If it suddenly works again you'll have 3 or 4 comments from me on your school thread, Jo! But I have read it and loved it, even if I can't leave a comment.

And my game is still borked, which of course, I can't post about on LJ because it won't load. *sigh* Looks like I'll be updating in August.

@ Jo, I did, yeah. But I didn't know if it would work ageing a baby on the simblender, and whether it was safe to age them up with that. I was hoping to post about it on LJ. The baby's just aren't ageing, it's taken 2 or 3 cakes per birthday and with Elle, still nothing after 4 tries.

@ Jilly, me too. I write a comment, post it, then get the crying goat, go back and repost, same thing every time.

It's the weekend and I've only got Monday to work before I go to Germany! ;D Excited is an understatement, the festival have posted a webcam of the stage construction, so I'm even more excited knowing it's starting.
