The maths curriculum we use has something called Fraction overlays. (Not that we are up to that, but I will buy those when the time comes) The fraction overlays are meant to help kids see what they are meant to do. I don't know anything about them, other then that. mathusee.com/manipulatives.html |

I don't even have a clue what GCSE stands for, but once upon a time, I was really good with fractions. I'm afraid you'd have to give more specific details of what you are doing before anyone could help you, Anna.

My Husband got all the way to Calculus without knowing how to do fractions well ;D
The key is to find the common denominator.

OK I'm a bit late but what I do when I study for math (which is rarely) is just go to my notes, write down a few sample sums and try to do it, see how much I remember. Then I consult the notes see if I did it right then try some more sums.

well my exam is over for this week it went well i think i answered all the questions anway but i have 2 wait till august 20th to see what i got  |
