Ok, I have no idea if I even spelt the title right. But I'm severely tired of them. They've been giving me issues with my courses for 3 fricken years!
The latest is the counselor refuses to sign me up for 2 correspondence courses because in general most teens won't do them. But I want to finish school before second semester is up, and we're paying $200 per course, so obviously I'm going to do it! He couldn't understand why I'm not wanting to take all these stuffy classes where you sit in a desk all day, and he couldn't understand why I want to be in the shop all day, why I have all shop classes.
Well DUMMY! I want to be in the trades and get an early knowledge base! (I had mentioned this to him, but he didn't seem to understand).

Sorry you're having trouble Nicole. It must be very annoying. He's probably so used to the 'average' teenager that he's not looking passed his nose. Also you're a girl so "why would you want all shop classes" (His thinking I bet, not mine ) I mean you're supposed to be cheerleading and flicking your hair at boys in science and passing notes in maths. >lol< You are not your average teen. Really I constantly forget that you're 16. Can you get your mother to talk to him?

I could get my mother to talk to him. Damnit, he should be nice to me, I've fixed his car for him! TWICE! But even so, I told him that I don't want to go the university route, I want to go the trades route. It's annoying. But thanks for the laugh Jo.

Just stop fixing his car and then be like 'see why I wanna take shop classes?' then stick your tongue out at him and walk away in slow motion

@ Pixx! Yeah, just tell him next time he asks, that you weren't able to take the classes that would help you fix it for him. "Some tool wouldn't let me sign up for my classes..who was it again? Oh yeah, it was YOU!"

That's completely ridiculous! He's your counselor and he's supposed to help you achieve your goals, not hinder you from reaching them.

Very good point Tina!
And I hate being in classrooms, so does it not make sense for me to take those at home and be more productive at school? No?

I'm going to go talk to the best of the three counselors there. Two are horrible, one is really nice. So I'm sure I'll work it out, if not I'll realease the Vice Principal on them, him and I see eye to eye on shop stuff.

Something tells me I don't want to know what means. Counselors are stupid. When I signed up for my classes, he totally missed half of it. We had to go back to change everything.

The VP at my school loves shop, totally loves it... So he even said when I told him I was having a schedule crunch, that he would work something out for me. So he's totally cool that way.
