Any of you geeks that loves to kill things for no apparent reason?Well this is the game for you! Well,my SBF(Second Best Friend) got me hooked on World of Warcraft.At first,I thought it was just another game all of those middle aged geeks played.Actually,I met people on there ten and up playing this thing.But they were doing this big download to the game and it screwed us all.Glitches have been happening and the game crashes frequently . I made this post so I can see who has at least heard of it.Know any tips about the game if you play it? I doubt many of you in here play the game but you know,just wondering.I guess you could call it curiousity .

@ Jo! Well, there IS a reason. You have to kill them before they kill YOU! We got a sample of the game with our new Digital Storm computers that turned out to be pieces of crap and I tried it for a bit. I couldn't even find my way around the stupid world and could barely get my character to even MOVE around in the world.

You are in there with a bunch of other 'real people' who are playing characters. So, I'm standing there all lost and not knowing what to do next and someone comes up and 'challenges' me. I didn't even know how to move around in the world, much less wield any weapons or even begin to know how to fight so... I declined. Thank goodness I had the option!

It seems interesting but I don't see why I should waste my money on a videogame that obligates me to pay 70$ a year to play. After all I get bored really easily. If you want a nice game where you can kill people I'd suggest war games like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor.
If you don't like war games I'd suggest Assassin's Creed. It's something really well done (modeling and textures are amazing!!! and it was done here in Montreal. WE ROCK!!! LOL)

At least you guys heard of it.Actually,I made a blood elf named BloodyRosey and she rocks! Don't worry Tina,I had to have my SBF show me places on the map.He taught me how to use my weapons and how they work.He taught me how to use the map and get quests.The game is quite addicting when you know how to play.And yes,Tina.Most people will come right up to you and challenge you.One time,this girl was a lower level than me and she challenged me.I declined only because i didn't feel like it and she called me a chicken ! And my SBF found this person who thought that he stole something from my SBF when he really didn't.So when my SBF said he didn't see anything gone,the person was calling him stupid and dumb then when my SBF was about to call the person a really bad name,the person logged off.Yes,there's a lot of stupid people on there.Mostly annoying.But the game is fun when you know how.I'm a hunter so I get to choose a pet to fight with me,which is kind of neat.

Meh, I don't care for those online games. When I play a game, I like it to be just me and whatever the computer throws at me.

Haily have you ever tried neverwinter nights? If you like WoW you'll love NWN. Try the expansions, you have more powers, and races. It's really fun too. I forgot to mention it yesterday

it is addicting hehe when I discovered it I played everyday for a while. Until I got stuck and bought something new hehe but it's worth the try I think maybe there is a demo online or something

Ehh, my cousin tried to get me to play it. But I didn't really want to buy it... Yeah, I'm cheap.
