has now been disabled within the first 24 hours of your last post. Double posting is an annoying practice when done within only a few moments of your last post and is really unnecessary since if you are the last person who posted, you can very easily modify that post to include what you forgot to say the first time. After a full 24-hour period has passed, you may post after yourself again. Therefore, double posting has not been removed completely, just slowed down a bit. This means that if you have a story thread, or a picture thread going, and need to bump it for an update, then you will able to do so even if you were that last one to post in that thread. Hopefully you all understand and will 'get the hang' of this new way of doing things. Okay, now I'm off to do some necessary thinking on my next chapter, hopefully without breaking my brain..lol Have a great day all!

Oh, you WILL quit your double posting because you CAN'T anymore! At least you can't until the next day. I could stop double posting altogether, but I want folks to be able to bump threads for updates, etc.

Double posting really annoys me, I've done it before though, so I'm a bit of a hypocrite, but i's good to see you've placed it in.

Too lazy to use the modify button? WTF sort of statement is that? It takes no more energy or effort to hit the modify button than it does to hit the reply button! Thanks Nicole. Glad someone agrees with me...lol

Hopefully the board will have more order with the non-double posting within a 24h span. I think it will, sometimes it gets a little confusing with double posts replying to different people, and I don't understand, lol.

Yea, this is one of main problems with double posting for that reason. Hopefully it will cut down on some confusion because my brain gets mixed up sometimes as well.

I don't think I get it. Do you mean you can only reply once a day on each post?

No Holley.
It means you won't be able to post, and post again DIRECTLY underneath it. SO you can't do two posts in a row, in the same topic without someone posting after you.
Like say Tina posted
You posted
Haily posted
You posted, you would not be able to post again, underneath this post somone would have to post like what Haily did in my example... Is this making sense?

LOL@Karima! Well, that's good news! Holley, Nicole is correct, except she forgot to reiterate that you CAN post DIRECTLY after yourself once 24 hours have passed. That simply means that if you are the last person who posted in a thread, you cannot go right back in and make another reply beneath the first one a minute or two later because the reply option will not be avaliable. But... after a whole day has gone by, the reply button will be back and you CAN post in there again even if it is below your last post.
