I'm just wondering how many places you have lived during your life so far. Me? Oh man, I've lived in TONS of places! When I was younger, I used to get asked I was a military brat. I was not. My dad was a pipe fitter and belonged to a union, so every time a job was finished, they would send him to a new one and we always up and moved to wherever that was. It started when I was just a baby. I was born in North Carolina, but my brother, who is two years younger than me, was born in Indiana. So, anyway, I'm going to list everywhere I have lived in my lifetime and I've lived in some of them more than once at different times.
1. North Carolina 2. Indiana 3. Georgia 4. Tennessee (seven miles from Graceland...Elvis Presley's house) 5. Alabama 6. West Virginia 7. Virginia 8. Michigan 9. Delaware 10. Louisiana 11. South Carolina 12. Florida 13. California (after I was on my own)
That's all I can remember right now, but I feel like I'm missing something for some reason...lol. So, have you ever lived anywhere other than where you live now, or are have you always enjoyed the luxury of being in one place?

Well, some of them were okay, but some of them were not so wonderful...lol. I've definitely been a few places though. Of course I have BEEN more places than that. Those are just the ones that I was able to call home for a while.

Well I WAS a Navy brat. My Mom is a retired Petty Officer. Born in Pensacola Florida. Weymouth, Massachussettes New Orleans, LA Albuquerque NM Richmond, VA San Diego, CA I thought there were more, but I guess not. When I was a sophomore in High School we almost had to move to Japan! Well that didn't happen and then my parents divorced. I still live in Southern California (3 miles from DisneyLand . I married a San Diego Native and DOUBT we'll ever move away from here.

Wow, just one state, eh, Jilly? Moving around so much as a kid was quite annoying at times, although sort of interesting...lol. When I lived in West Virginia, it was near the Ohio River, so all I had to do was cross the bridge to be in Ohio. When I was in California, I lived in Reseda for a while and then moved to Sherman Oaks. I never will forget my time spent on Woodman Avenue!

You're lucky actually. I don't even have any of those 'lifelong friends' that you seem to acquire when you grew up together because I was always moving. I'd try to keep in touch with my friends for a while, but then you just sort of lose touch, especially since back then, there was no internet...lol

maybe I'm not good at keeping old friends even though I never moved out of town We grew up, we changed, we lost contact so for me it wouldn't matter. I'd love to try new places

Yea, you'll never know the course your life would have taken if one or two things had been different. It would be nice to know to know, in a way, but then again, it may only make you upset if you see it could have been better... LOL
