Stuff!

I am getting into the writing mood. (OMG! ALERT THE NEWSTANDS! Right... haha) Anyways, I am kinda having to go through some of my things because with Apartment Life, a lot of these clothes I had downloaded aren't showing. I guess that would make loading easier, but it still says everything is there.

So, I guess I will start anew when coming to finding these things. I don't really have any specific criteria but I am looking for a few specific things.

Clothing :

- Trendy PJ's (anything cute, or just plain wearable. The ones I have downloaded look semi-fake with the plaid sweats and squarish looking slippers. So please, something that looks realistic and cute.. Boy/Girl)

- Nice, soft, fluffy looking hair (Realistic looking)

- For guys.. I am looking for a nice hoodie and pair of faded-out jeans. (Realistic again)

I would like to find some if not all of those things. Am looking out already, but have yet to come across these things.

Also, question. Is the only way to make the scenary look more realistic with photoshop, or are there hacks for that kind of stuff?

I don't know about all that other stuff, off hand, but as far as I know, there are no hacks for scenery floating around. But.. if you need any photoshop help, you know who to ask.

Photoshop tips? You got photoshop? I was talking about doing the pics for you, not giving tips...lol. If you have photoshop and need some pointers, I could try, but the best way is to just play around and figure things out. It's the way I do it.

About the hoodie and jeans for guys, Do you have H&M? I think there hoody outfit is cute!

With AL, there was a paper that came inside that gives you a sims 3 hoodie. (but it comes with sandals, not shoes - ugh!) Also, There's a sim builder on the exchange called Karollinka - she has 2 simpages, 1 for young adults, and one for adults. She has many guy sims in various hoodies & jeans. I got a ton from her sims! I've never had any of her sim's outfits not show up, and if you use clean installer, you can just install the clothes, not the sim.

;)I downloaded some 'picture windows' & back drops that work realistically but I am having the same problem as you with CC, that is there, but only shows up in bodyshop or CAS!My own re-colors have shown up even when I had no CC! GO FIGURE!
If you are interested I can chase those down for you, some back drops are on the EX, but I got a lot of very loverly picture windows, some have the picture in the window frame others are to be put outside your window like a picture with moveObjects on!to make it more 3-D! let me know? as they are in the Booty! ;)also in MTS2 they have an atmosphere that copies the sky, which is very pretty as it was in my game before the upgrade,I loved the sunset effect & the foggy affect, as soon as I remember the name I will look it up!

Wow, I'm back. haha I missed you guys too..

It's been crazy. I pulled up my sims game. Hacks are STILL not working. Dilemma dilemma. And Tina, you'd do that? That'd be crazy helpful! I've been trying to figure out how to like pose them the ways I want but it won't work because my hacks aren't exactly working..

If not though, I guess I have bunches of options here! Thanks everyone bunches. I'm going to take a look at the stuff you guys posted if I'm gonna end up taking pics myself, but we'll see how everything works out. My game is really messed up at the moment.. getting kind of irritated. lol

Sure, I'd do that! Hey, you know something? You may need to uninstall and then reinstall your last couple of expansions. Something could have gone whacky during your installation because I see no other reason why your hacks shouldn't work.

You should back up your game and give it a go. It can't hurt and it just may help.

That would be totally fantastic! You have awesome editing skills and the writing has been comin' to me, but not exactly the picture-taking.

Anyways, I should try that! It would be awesome if it works. I miss my poses.
