i have that problem almost every summer day! i live out in the boomdocks so if you had a wild party,no one would hear it except your sleeping neighbors(sp?)! Last year we heard everything BUT our brook that usually gurgles peacfuly at night. You don't want me to describe what i heard over there while sleeping...it's disrubing...

only our neighbors(sp?) aren't youngsters. they are 30 year old drugies who love to go hunting. if you knew a lot of hunters,this would be typical of them

It is definitely inconsiderate of them to do that. Like I've said before, we have some neighbors a few houses up that like to hang around outside, partying with their music blaring. They even usually have a fire going in a barrel. When we go outside, we can hear them carrying on, but inside we can't. I don't what I'd do if they were right next door to us and their noise kept us awake at night.  It would definitely anger me! |

Probably the same kind of stuff we hear coming over our fence. Well I can just feel it in my floor boards. Just. But even if i couldn't it's way too loud for 11.42pm.
Well when is say youngsters, they are adults. I'm assuming around the 18-22 year old mark.

i know what you mean,Jo. I love the woods and all,and my family even throws a bom-fire every now and again with some close friends of ours. But we never get that loud.EVER!

They often go till 2 am. One time they turned it up at 3 and we called the cops, but only the once.

I'd be calling the cops more often than that. I'd say that after 11:00pm, you should definitely consider your neighbors. |

Well it's 12.15 now and they've turned it down somewaht. Maybe soon I'll see how loud it is in our bedroom. It just has to be the room closest to there backyard. And they play it from there shed.

You poor thing Jo, I'd call the cops every time the music went past 11:00, they would figure out right quick that I wasn't playing around! I have to do it here all the time. I think my neighbors are afraid to play loud music around here, after 11:00, because they know I will call. It dosn't make for freindly neighbors, BUT I do get sleep!  |
