I was suggesting the piano for Holly,as she is doing the Roman era!

I don't think the piano is allowed then. I'm not sure I even thought to include that in the rules or not. I did have a quick look but I'm too tired. It's only 9.30 here and I'm going to slep.

Karima, maybe you should try taking the harvestable stuff out althogether. Maybe that is what is stopping them from being able to fish.

No... that other girl purposely deleted some of her posts and then deleted her own account. I was having those same problems here too, but I cleaned out my cookies and it got better. Try that and see if it helps you as well.

Yes. If you take the harvestable stuff out and put it on your desktop for now and then try to fish, that will work to let you know if that is what is causing the fishing problem. Since your sims can't fish, it's only logical that something like that, or something else that deals with harvesting/fishing is causing your problem. Maybe the harvestable stuff is NOT compatible with Seasons. You have to be very careful with hacks to make sure that they are compatible with your current game or they can cause big trouble for you.

Bleh! I hate those pap smears too. I haven't had one in quite a while either..

Karima, cookies are NOT messages...LOL. They are files that websites give you when you when you visit. They hold log-on info, etc. That's how it lets you not have to type in your username/password everytime you visit a site. The website knows who you are. If you clean them out, you will have to re-log onto the sites you visit the first time afterwards.

Every now and again, a site will give you a cookie that is a bit corrupt and it can cause slown-downs, etc. To delete them, just right-click on your IE icon (or, I guess, whatever other browser you may be using), go to 'properties', and choose 'delete' where it shows your temporary internet files/cookies/browsing history. That will clean out your temporary net files folder and start you fresh.

Well when I came back from my appointment, I did a search, ended taking the whole downloads folder out as I was going cross eyed, went into the game & played Cyd & Pathos, to see if he could fish, yes he did fish, so I closed the game & went on a mammoth hunt to find the harvest basket,found it & put it on the desk top in its own folder, put the downloads folder back, went into the game to see if I could still get them to fish & it was winter I was just going to go to another lot to test it & the game crashed!
Tina, when I got the harvest basket from MTS2 it had been updated for Seasons, & was compatible with all EP's,I think my problem was that I downloaded a lot with these veg from a friend but the basket was not with it, even though they are all one package, as they can not work without the basket, if nothing else at least I updated it, I still do not know if they work, but seeing as I have the whole harvest kit it should, that only depends on weather the Sims can fish? or not?

I would take the whole set out. Once you get the fishing function to work, you can freshly download the whole set together, put it in it's own folder in your downloads so it's easier to find if it goes wonky again. I know you really want that set - I actually really want it, too. Maybe the problem is that the downloads are corrupted because they were separated. A fresh, complete download, (once your fishing is restored) may solve it for you!

Holley, I have some downloads from simslice, and have never had a problem with them. (I saw the link for simslice from Nicole above)

If so... I really don't know if that stuff would cause your non-fishing problem or not. Something in your downloads folder is, but I don't know if it's that. Try to think if you have anything else that may deal with fishing or ponds or anything like that. I'm tempted to download that stuff and try it in my game to see if it messes up fishing, but... that's a LOT of crap. Since Seasons, I don't personally see much reason why someone would want to stuff up their downloads folder with all that stuff either. But, of course, that's just me.

I know if she had Insiminator and it isn't updated she wouldn't be able to fish and such.
Do you have Insiminator Karima? Is it updated for your currentEP?

;)Yes, I do have the Insiminator, it is two years old, & never been updated,so Holly I will up date it if I can remember were I got it from? I think MTS2, as it can't be TSR which are the only two I was a member too,I also used Crymson & the Booty, but you do not need to be a member at those! & I got it as a joining gift!

The insimenator is no longer supported, although it is updated through M&G. In the thread, they suggest using TwoJeff's simblender instead which you can find here:

;)Thank you for that, as no-one was around much(or just on when I wasn't!)I spent quite a good time playing with my ELDER & son, with no issues at all! they were fishing & just harvested their first crop of tomotoes!as I had the harvest stuff in with no probs.(I had the downloads folder out)
So, do I delete the Inseminator, I do not realy use it anymore anyway, I use my painting( which probable needs updating too!do you know which one? the hacked landscape one.)
