Hey all! Upon waking this morning, I saw there were no or very few threads that didn't already show my name as the last poster so I figured I'd take the plunge and start a new one.

What's happening in your world today? Everything is pretty the same here in mine. lol Nothing new, nothing exciting, nothing worth mentioning...lol. Well, actually there IS one thing:

I've been approved to start being a guinea pig to try a drug that has never before been used to treat my condition. It's usually used for rhuematiod arthritis, etc. It's called Humera and its list of possible side effects is long not pretty but.... if it works then I'm all for it.

Hopefully it won't kill me.

Well today everything is kinda getting back to normal here. Ethan is in school after a 4 day weekend. Christian and I just got back from a few errands and are now just chilling. You know that song "it never rains in Southern California"? Well it is a lie :(It has been raining here on and off for 2 weeks. We do live in a desert, so rain is good, but i am getting a bit sick of it. remember being trapped in a house with two toddlers? Not Fun!

Oh I'm sure that's NOT much fun! Been there before when mine were little...lol. Hey, but the song is true! It also says the when it does rain, it pours!

Oh, I also forgot to mention that my dh said we could get a new computer when we get our tax return back

I was going to ask your help with that. I figure eventually I will be getting TS3 and would like to invest in something that can run the game well and has room for future EP's.

Harley is the one to ask advice on buying a new computer, etc. I'll be here though to help ya keep sucyrom off it!

Just do like Jo did and make a thread in the general help forum whenever you're ready to start asking for advice on the subject.

I hope the drugs work for you,nothing worse than steroids,I'm actual on drugs that were made for something else,after I refused to be experimented on, anymore,two years of steroid based drugs,was enough for me,the weight gain was the worst part(which actually aggravated my problem, instead of relieving the pain),but I was actually picking fights with blokes twice my size,so thought for my health & sanity, I had to say no more!
I really do hope you have found the solution to your health problems, you will have to let us all know how it turns out,are you taking it for a six weeks trail,or longer?

What am I doing? Well dh is away for a couple of days and it's been raining here too, so just me and two kids in the house with lots of dvds. I will get myself another cup of coffie, open my game to continue my edit (That takes me ages as I am also looking for some fun Aussie facts to add in here and there) Then I will do some school with Sarah. Also probably, no yes actualy some laundry. More editing. Must get those kids to pick up the lounge later. Just very boring everyday stuff. I guess I should call the Dr too...

What's with everyone and rain?

It's raining here also. Nothing really new here, just waiting for the weekend as always. Friday I'm going to a dance, then Saturday is mall day, Sunday I'm doing nothing, then Monday I'm going shopping with a friend. We have Monday off because of some teacher-meeting-thing.

???Whats with the rain,guess what? it's raining here too!(we really do need it! but because of the drought some towns are flooding!the ground is baked dry!)I would rather have the rain than the heatwave we have been having,it is much cooler!
I am just sitting here, doing what I do most days! reading some stories,I also have to go back & CI my 1X1 lot,Oh! no, one wet dog,I think I will be bathing a happy dog, who loves to play in the wet grass & the rain, she had so much fun, she is hyper,running back & forth!

Thanks everyone! Hey, it's not raining here, but it's getting cloudy as if it's thinking about raining!

No Karima, it's not a six week trial. I have been approved for an entire year of this stuff for now. It's very expensive and if you make under a certain amount of money a year (the amount is quite large actually), you can get it for free. So... that's a good thing at least. The sucky part is that it is not in pill form. I have to actually administer injections to myself once every two weeks! I've never done that sort of thing before so the aspect of it is a bit scary...lol

What's new with me? Since my transmission is going out-guess who got to push the car this morning, all by their lonesome because it wouldn't reverse by itself...yeah, good times!!!

What is sucyrom? I've heard people mention it, but what is it?
