There are so many oxymorons in the english language-and others I'm sure. Oxymorons are things that are total opposite of one another but are commonly seen or put together, such as Jumbo Shrimp. We know shrimp are commonly tiny things, so paired with the word jumbo makes it an oxymoron. Can you come up with others?  |

An Oxymoron is when words are placed side by side which are opposites. Here Are Some: Cold fire, Loving hate, Bright smoke, Feather lead, Heavy lightness, Serious vanity, Sick health, Still-walking sleep. ^_^ I'll tell you if I come across anymore - Hope I helped  |
