Conflicting TV Shows!

You know gripes me? We fall into a nice little routine around here when there are new shows to watch on TV. Certain shows come on certain nights and we get nice and used to it, right?

Then the shows go off for a few weeks (Whatever happened to the 'good old days' when a season actually lasted a season before the summer reruns began?), and when it comes back, they have it on a NEW day which is on a different station opposite of a show we are already watching! How annoying!

Thank goodness for DVR, or I'd really be upset!

Ah, I just realized forgot say the reason I made this thread...lol.

I've been watching 'Ghost Whisperer' on Friday nights at 8:00pm ever since the show began a few years ago. Another show we like called 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles' always came on Monday nights at 8:00pm or 9:00pm. It's been so long since it's been on that I can quite remember the time...lol. BUT... now 'Sarah Connor..." is back, but is now on tonight opposite of 'The Ghost Whisperer'. I'd be so darned mad if I couldn't record one of them so I could watch it later.

I know what you mean. At least they never moved the simpsons. it's been playing every sundays at 8 for as long as I remember. I guess that's why I don't really watch tv anymore (changing schedules and stupid reruns!!!) I prefer to wait for my favorites tv shows on dvd : commercial free yeah!

Commercial free is good! That's another good reason for DVR. We can pause live TV, go grab a snack, etc and then skip the commericals! ;D

I just don't get why these days a TV show is on for a few weeks and then off for a weeks. Once upon a time they just played through until the end of the season.

not me the only shows I really really follow on tv are american idol and the simpsons because I can't wait 10 years to see the 20th season LOL but now it's been so long since they showed a new episode I'm starting to despair, stupid superbowl, grammys, oscars, and any other event. I WANT MY SIMPSONS hehehe

Aww Mae... *sniff* that sucks! Just think.. March Madness (basket ball) will be taking everything over soon.

Such is the beauty of pirated, uhm, everything. I don't even bother trying to watch TV anymore except for Battlestar and Heroes. Our friend has PVR and we watch them both on the same night at their house. Everything else Nick and I just download and watch whenever we want. It's awesome. ALSO we don't get HBO, but a lot of our favorite shows are on HBO. lol.

Yea, we hate those adds too. Speaking of recorded shows, I now have a few I need to watch. It will give me a bit of break from the 'work' I have to do here tonight...lol

Well now I'm double posting just to alert everyone to the fact that I am now going to go watch a couple of those recorded shows..lol. I have yet to see Lost or Ghost Whisperer because we had to record them. I'll be back when the shows are over.
