Ok, so I'm going crazy for some relief or some way to get rid of them. I get one about every two weeks and they last for a week. I'm meaning consistantly every two weeks... Does anyone have any ideas for relief? I've already got this liquid from the health food store that soothes them, but it only lasts 10 minutes.

That's bad Nicole! Do you get enough vit C? If I get one I tend to take a multi vit and a Vit c tablet.

Oh man, that doesn't sound good at all Nicole. I've never gotten a canker sore, so I really know nothing about them. Have you tried a google search for answers? It's what I do whenever I don't know something. Or maybe you could get a doctor to prescribe something that works and maybe find out what, if anything, is causing them to occur.

Well lack of B12, zinc and C is one reason for them.

I think I'm really lacking on the B12, I have more than half the stymptoms. :/
I've tried medicated ointment, vitamin e oil, numbing gels, ice, I have Lysine tablets which help some, and I've tried peroxide, baking soda... Pretty much every home remedy there is. I might have to look into vitamin C more.

Do you take a multi-vitamin every day? I do. I know for a fact I don't get all the nutritional elements I need out of the crappy foods I eat...lol So I take vitamins every day to help make up for it.

Will do, Tina!
But I have to go see my doctor again anyways soon for more specific vitamins. Because there's different sources that each vitamin comes from, example of calcium, it can come from coral, beets and something else, and I can only have one type... It's odd.

Oh yea, you wouldn't want to take something that could cause a reaction. That wouldn't be much help.
