Ack! I have a LOT of stuff to do today, especially in the kitchen which I hate...lol. Christmas Eve dinner, you know. I was up pretty late night wrapping some gifts to get them out of the way. I think I'd rather wrap gifts though than to have to kitchen stuff.

I've got to get going & start getting ready, too. I'm making the ham to take to my mom's tonight & have a few more gifts to wrap. Luckily, my awesome daughter came through & did almost all of my wrapping! (except hers, of course! LOL) I have another ham to make for tomorrow for us here. Instead of one big one, I just got 2 small ones. No left-overs to tote around. They can keep theirs & we'll keep ours! Have a Merry one, everybody!

Ah, I'm so pooped already! Just popping in for a minute to see what's up. Lucky you, Jilly, having a daughter that'll wrap gifts for you! Mine can barely wrap gifts for themselves! I hope everyone is having a great day so far!

I'll wrap the bigger toys, but my new tradition is to get a really nice box and overload it with awesome presents for the kiddies, to save on wrapping paper. (so far, they like the box better than the presents...) And I refuse to put them under the tree till tomorrow morning. They don't understand to leave the presents alone yet! My Christmas shopping won't be done till next week, or this Friday, depends. These guys don't totally 'get' Christmas yet. But I do! I have been singing Christmas songs for a solid month, and we've been listening to 40's Christmas music online for a few weeks now. I love decorating... I love the little ornaments and I spend a lot of time admiring them. So many memories! And I've been cooking up a storm. Not much for the gift-giving foods yet, that will come next week. I am making a ham tonight for us... and then we'll exchange presents with my sister/ mother/ nephews next week. I swear I am not on crack. That stuff is too expensive. I just really love to be festive. Meet me any time of the year and I am the b....iest, grumpiest person you'll ever meet. lol. ;D But I am surrouded by roughly 18" of snow and the kids have their reindeer food ready! (oatmeal with sparkles in it)

Ah Snazzy... *goes off into a nostalgic dreamworld* I loved it when my kids were little. It was SO much more fun back then...

You DO believe me about the crack, then? The oldest one is more enthralled with his presents so far. The youngest is grouchy because he's not feeling well. The youngest possibly broke the oven door so I'll see how cooking goes.

I was playing around with my new pen/pad for a bit. It's pretty darned cool, but I definitely need to practice and learn how to control it!

I'm pretty sure both the English and Canadians also have boxing day (Puplic holiday) But I know for whatever reason Americans don't.

Well Sarie, it's basically just a religious holiday/shopping day. I googled and found several explanations of the day's origins and what it's about.

Oh!
At first I thought of actual boxing, you know with the gloves and hitting each other.
