Yeah dh wasn't sure if it had run out of warranty or not. But it would figure if they say it ran out last month wouldn't it. At least one good bit of news is they said they will look at it today! Probably can thank my lucky stars this didn't happen a week later. Talking of guys, one person thought I was a guy (weird because I think I'm fairly girly lol) so I wrote them back "honey I have 3 c-section scars so I hope not!" Cracked Lynda up big time.  |

That is good news! Hopefully it won't be anything too serious and your warranty is still intact. Or if your waranty isn't still good, it won't be anything horribly expensive.

Apparantly it's the power source and it needs a new power supply. Hopefully done by Wednesday. *Crossing all crossables*

It is good but still  It's 4.15 now and you will all be going to bed soon. This is when I normally put my game on and play or write. Dh got a fairly new power source from my old comp (the one that lost all my games and everything) that we tried to fix but couldn't. Took it down to be told the guy knocks off at 4! It was 10 to, so he's not looking till tomorrow.  |

Well,So it was the PSU...thats easy and cheap enought to fix thankfully.... Is it still in warrenty? Hope so... And I called you Joe only because as Tina said, I'm stupid....LOL Sorry Jo.......... |

Now if dh wasn't going away for the day/night I might have even gotten it back this arvo,(Tue) but he's not here to go pick it up for me. At least they say the power source will work.

Oh yes, he even hooked his laptop up to my moniter and my mouse before leaving which has made it much better. |

LOL... it sure does! I went that route once when one of my other computers went down and had to go to the shop. I bought a nice gaming laptop to make do and Harley hooked up my monitor and keyboard to it. I couldn't have stood being on it for two weeks if not for that.
