Looks like you're off to a good start! Good for Madison landing on his feet. I couldn't tell that Elissa wasn't an NPC, but then I don't play TS3. Out of curiosity, what should have tipped me off?

One little point: your nighttime shots are very dark and hard to make out. Maybe you could polp down a light off-camera, just long enough to get the shot?

Awww, cute kids! Two years difference is a good difference -- my niece and nephew are two years apart, and she gets along great with him. (Although she does have a tendency to hug too enthusiastically.) Can you really hire babysitters of different ages and genders in TS3, not just the elderly female nannies, or was that artistic license? If you can, that's pretty cool.

My comments on Chapters 1.3 and 1.4 got eated by the internets, but I liked them.

I do like Carter and Sharon, and welcome to Dakota. Baby weight can be hard to get off, though it's probably easier for Sims than for real people.

TS3 dogs can swim in the pool? That is so cool!

Are you deciding the intervals between babies, or can you really have pregnancies so close together in TS3? (Honest question, since I don't play TS3 and don't know the answer.)

One thing that would help with any upcoming heir votes would be a little more characterization. Since I don't play TS3, I don't really know how the traits affect the Sim's personality. It would be helpful if you showed some of those, like you showed Elissa tripping over her own feet in the museum. (Since you said you wanted some constructive criticism...)

Chapter 1.1
Thank you for the lighting suggestion. I also noticed how dark the pictures were at night and would love to brighten them up so you can actually tell what is going on in them!

Being able to tell that Elissa is not an NPC is that she is living in one of the houses. She's a playable, because she belongs to a household that can be chosen through the main town screen on TS3.

Chapter 1.2
All of the babysitters in TS3 are teenagers, but they can be male or female. It's a nice change from the elderly ladies in TS2, but some do not take as good care of the toddlers as others.

I'm sad to see that your comments for chapter 1.3 and 1.4 were eaten by the internet.

Chapter 1.5
The heir vote didn't go as well as I would like to for the second generation, but I'm excited to announce that you will all have a chance to vote for the third generation heir! As soon as I get to that point and figure out how to do a poll on LJ...

Chapter 1.6
The game doesn't tell you stats like that. Just the normal astrological sign as well as favorite food, color and type of music. You also pick two traits for the new baby to have from the get-go. I came up with the stats to add more to the story.

I was ecstatic when Carter won the heir vote. I only had 3 people vote, but he was my favorite generation two baby.

Chapter 2.1
Sims definitely work weight off faster than we do in the real world. So not fair!

Chapter 2.2
Pregnancies can be extremely close together in TS3. A couple can get pregnant the same day another child is born.

I love the dogs swimming in the pool interaction with TS3. Their doggy paddle is adorable.

I was having trouble seperating out the boys' characters this generation, but it got easier as they got older and started to really branch into their own person.

NoReins I'm reading through your legacy on LJ but I can't seem to find chapter 1.4? It goes 1.3 where they become teens, and no I didn't notice the stink cloud until you pointed it out lol and then it goes to 1.5.

No, you don't need to hyperlink it. Part of that HTML code is the hyperlink. The only thing I can think to change might be to change the 5 to a smaller number. I'll bold what I'm talking about below so you can see it. You don't need to but it in bold, though -- and if you try, you won't be able to.

If that doesn't work, just change it back to a 5 and all will be well.
