I don't mind the links to Tumblr. They work nicely. I'm having to readjust a lot of Plot on the fly, and also write three stories simultaneously to make sure that I have everything and it's all consistent. I unexpectedly and definitively lost a challenge earlier this week (Monday, I think), and it's been throwing things off. Sorry for the cryptic-ness! I just don't want to ruin things.

aw. Neat Amylu. Right now, I'm just doing the Makeovers in Sims2 for the contest. But on sims3 I have a Candy themed legacy. My founderess name is Sweet Tart and she has been to University one time and is married to the college mascot that dropped by her house to leave the uni freebies. He had an alien son.

I think Simcity plus my cold is at fault, I just don't feel like staging or even playing Sims right now (anyone else get like that now and then?) and quite a bit of staging will be needed with what I plan to do for the makeover. I got the 9 sims involved all looking how they should and set up the sceen. Now I have to stage and shoot. Cute Amylu, I don't mind checking out a link.

I get that way sometimes, Jo. It's why I try to have a buffer of special features built up.
Lucky you having alien babies already, Ashley! Are they easier to get in TS3 than TS2, or did you just get lucky?

They are kind of easier to get in TS3 than TS2. You don't even have to be at the telescope. Hehehehe. It's so much fun.

Curious to know which challenge you lost Esme, that's a shame as you're doing so well with all of them! Hope it's not made the plot too difficult for you, it sounds like there's a lot to do! I get like that too Jo, I usually go in bodyshop and retexture hair or create a sim when I don't feel like loading the game. I find it much easier to play now that I don't have a story, though, although I do miss all my sims. I found myself planning the final Hypothesis plot again yesterday.

I've spent several play sessions this past week where I play for one real-life hour to get maybe five game-hours (that's normally five real-life minutes, BTW) covered. The process is involving lots and lots of pictures, and some cheats/poseboxes because I only get one shot at most of it. Plus, the writing is taking a lot of time, since I have to work back and forth between different stories, to keep things lined up, internally consistent, fair, and independent for people who only read one story and not the others. But I think I've turned a corner, and as soon as I finish writing one last part of one chapter, I should be caught up and able to play. PS: For anyone who's playing a CCL, Lorin came up with a suggestion for improved scoring after my last chapter, and I've incorporated it into the rules. No worries -- I think everyone will come out ahead score-wise, and it's both specific and easy. (Lorin is a genius. I mostly just typed it up. )

I used to play at that speed, it's taking the time to make sure everything's right, but you can tell in your stories how much effort you put in. I need to read that last chapter of Cecil's CCL, sorry Esme! I've almost finished making male hairs for the monthly theme at GoS, and I made a sim to model them too, just got to get time to open the game and get some preview pictures.

OOooh, I'm looking forward to seeing what hairs you've chosen! And I know Cecil's has cats in in, lots of them, so don't feel obligated at all! (I do forget sometimes that you don't like them.) I hope the effort pays off for the readers, but the ideal is for it all to look effort less...

I'll go and read the CCL now, I look forward to it and enjoy reading it, even if I don't quite understand Cecil's feelings towards cats. The hairs I've done are all longer hairs, partly because that's all my laptop can retexture, and also to celebrate my boyfriend getting his job and not having to cut his hair for it! His hair looks much neater when it's long and tied back, to me. Right, I've now made two sims to showcase this hair so it's about time I stopped procrastinating in bodyshop and actually opened the game! ;D

Editing my pictures so I can post them onto GoS, I'm rather nervous. I hope someone wants long hair for male sims! This is Hayden modelling one of the hairs.

Looks good to me! Not that I use hair that long but plenty do. Can you post the GOS link Amy? I'd like to pop over and see the thread.

Here you go I'm towards the bottom of page 5. There are two slightly shorter hairs too, but either my laptop or my image editor can't handle retexturing properly short hairs - too many angles to manage. I'm quite pleased as two or three people have downloaded them already, so I must have done ok! ;D
